SS DO listen to the players, when the issues is clearly written, and in the right board where they can easily read, and find it.
But don't expect SS devs and admins are going to read all forum through just to find a misplaced topic somewhere shouting it's off-topicness.
Also depend on what you want them to listen to, if you are reporting a bug at the forum, what in the end should be reported as instructed, and by email to the support, then you might not be heard as well.

Rather think of if your message is clear, easy to understand and to interpret, or is it a mess where you can't get the point of the issue.
There is so many reasons for what can be heard and what not.
Also remember to not go off-topic on something you want to be read, avoid any comments what are not clearly directing to the main subject, and do not start to flame etc in such threads.
Don't think the devs are much interested in reading topics what goes on and on with lots of spam posts in such thread, so keep them clean.

Try also to make spaces, and be as much correct in the language as you can.
It is much easier and faster to read than one huge big block of text without spaces, dots or anything.
Avoid dark font colors.
I do understand if someone does not write correctly English, but it can still be written in a clear readable way.

Also you and I and everyone is now aware of what the Devs are working on, and that narrows their time to be reading the forum posts.

Devs and every staff member rather also read one thread of same issue than 10 different threads of the same issue, so there is one way to make you more heard, search for a thread already written with the same issue that you are about to write.

That is not too hard. I do hope this cleared up a bit why you might not be heard, and you also take the advices of how you can be heard much better.

I think, He means that the decent ideas that are posted on the suggestions thread arenot taken into consideration, but the ones that only a few players showed interest in (changing the conquest system, as many liked it the way it was for example) are changed.

At least defacto's ship idea will not get into the game with its sparta hole :sneaky:

I personally have gone through the entire suggestions board and written a report of the ideas that are viable. i am not saying they will be implemented. I am saying that we do read the suggestions and take them very seriously.

Well if you ask me about the splitscreen services I can only say that they really good listen to the players. One of the first day I was playing this game I had a question * A stupid one * so I did go to the official site of SS and sended a mail, They send me a really nice message back! ^^
Splitscreen do really there best to make a good game, if there are problems they always clean them up with updates. If there is a server down it's up within minutes or a couple of hours ;) So my praise for splitscreen :D

The only time you will recieve this type of response is if Support answers a Ticket & then gets no reply back for Days. It is a courtesy Reply to let Pilots know Support has not forgot about there issue but they have forgot about Support

Hmmmm - Lets see now:

Suggestions Read & Submitted to Devs by Staff: To many to Count

Pilots who actually listen to Staff (FM, GM, CM, PM) Comments, Suggestions or Guidance - Not Many

I Rest My Case

all im saying that there shouldnt be a suggestions forum if only 2-3 are gonna be listened to (which mainly are bad suggestions) whats the point of it if the good ones not gonna be put into the game and in most cases only the bad suggestions are put in such as, restriction of players being able to help players in lower systems with a rank 60 ship, ship prices have been doubled ever since you were able to sell ships, heatshield has been replaced with crystal drop, rank 50 ships armour is weak now when you needed 10 ships to beat it, you now need to be a certain rank to install a bp, you now need a cq ship to be able to enter a cq..... i could go on :frown:

For spode's sake...

You are not a dev, and so you do not decide what to implement. The mods/admins look trough all suggestions, but they only use those that they want to.

I am terribly aggravated, why do the devs not wave their magic wands and make this the game of my dreams! D:C ROBBLEROBBLEROBBLE, I'm 10 years old and have no idea how games are made or what it takes to implement even 1 of the million absurd ideas posted in this forum! ROBBLEROBBLEROBLLE, why does everyone ignore me!?!?!?! ROBBLEROBLLEROBLLE, ROBBLEROBBLE....

ROBBLE...

First: The Devs decide, which are good and which are bad ideas. And they decide, which ideas they put into the game. Defacto is right.
