Is there any place where you can check the specs of each ship and equipment?

In the site pointed by serebus, open the Players > Ships/Simulator menu and click any ship image for details about items and costs, then move the mouse over the "more info" link to show a comparison table about armor, firepower, speed and energy efficiency.
