Humans
The humans are carbon-based oxygen breathers from the planet Earth. This species originates from the Sol System. From here, they colonized 4 other star systems and are living on lot's of new planets. They are 2 Meters tall and have mid-advanced technology.
Imperials
The Imperials are humans that stayed in Sol, and conquered the Earth through military power and very big nukes. They have mighty Antimatter power, aquired from the Mantis. Once the mantis arrived, they signed an alliance treaty with the emperor, as the Imperials are the only part of the Human race that are strong enough to inflict damage on the Mantis whatsoever.
Colonials
The Colonials are humans that settled in the colonies; Vega, Antares, Gemini and Mizar, and many more. They use mid-advanced Ion and Fusion Technology. Lately, they have been under heavy pressure from the Mantis.
Rebels
The Rebels are a group of fighters operating outside the grasp of the Imperials, and believe in freedom and democracy, just as the Democrata, and you can say in some way that they continue the work the democrata did.
Smuggler
There's outlaws everywhere, even in the advanced society of the future, and some of them can go very far for a sum of cryonite...
Mantis
The Mantis are a race of silicone-based insectoid beings that are as intelligent as they are aggressive. They measuring up to 3 meters in height and look extremely repelling to the human eye. It is said that their home planet was destroyed long ago in a ecological crisis or civil war. Little is know about this event. It is however regarded as a fact that their entire species has since been submitted to a nomadic lifestyle, roaming the galaxy and pillaging the planets as they pass by, like a swarm of locusts. They use Dark-Matter technology, that is more advanced then human technology.
(Draconis)-Mantis
The (Draconis)-Mantis society is hierarchically organized. At its center is the powerful (Draconis)-Mantis Queen. She resides inside (Draconis)-Mantis Hive, an enormous space-bound structure that no human has ever layed eyes upon. Untill now. The (Draconis)-Mantis rely on the hive ship for reproduction and survival of their species. Without the queen, the (Draconis)-Mantis could not reproduce, If the (Draconis)-Mantis Queen was Destroyed then the (Draconis)-Mantis species would surely follow. It is their Achilles heel.
(Sanct-Danians)
(Remaining Mantis of Lashida on Sanct-Dan. They live in peace with the Aluminiums and use advanced Electro Magnetism Technology.)
Ancients
The Ancients are a species of sentient aliens that perished long before the rise of the human empire. Nothing is know about their biology, appearance, or origins.
The name “Ancients” was given to them by scientists and archaeologists when it was first discovered that an ancient alien civilization had inhabited the galactic sector millions of years ago. Relics of this perished race hint at a technologically superior culture, peaceful but very powerful. Why this species has disappeared and where they have gone remains unknown.
The purpose of the technological artifacts that have been found is equally unclear, as are any methods on how to operate them. The location of their homeworld is also a mystery. It may have been destroyed, it may be located in a different galaxy altogether. Speculations have it that the technology of the Ancients might be the key to defeating the Mantis. However, the planets where the major excavation sites and installations of the Ancients are located today are occupied by the Mantis, making them inaccessible to human exploration.
Until now, no human pilot has had the skills to challenge the Mantis and solve the mysteries of the Ancients.
Some theories also state that the ancients was the builder of the Stargates.
Methanoids
The Methanoids are a race of carbon-based methane breathers. They originate from the planet Tau Ceti IV, now occupied by the Mantis. They have far more advanced technology than the Mantis called Zero Point. They, just like the human colonists, have inhabited lots of star systems like the Draconis System.
