Space Mining

I'm new here and maybe dont know anything... but i dont seen Something Like Space Mining...
I'm about That:
in system are : ASTEROID field or Asteroid Belt(divided by asteroid fields (depends on how big belt ) ) ( Google) And thay are captured by mantis...
Players Can Capture The Field and with the mining unit start mining operations...Or If They Have Mining base Module They can Build Mine
mine can be updated With defense Turrets...
Mantis attacks on Field Are regular...
Players With pirate Mode Can Try to capture The Field(If Field Already Captured By a player)

There Are asteroid Types:
Gold***(Gold)
Crystals(Crystals)
Iron(exchanged FOr crystals: 2/1)
Silicon(exchanged For Crystals: 4/1)
Silver(Exchanged For Crystals:1.5/1)
Water****(Exchanged For Crystals: 5/1)
Bronze**(exchanged For Crystals: 10/1)
Diamond*(exchanged for Crystals:1/1)
*- Need Hi-leveled Mining Unit
**- u can make no asteroids of that type
***- u can make no gold resources or make it but very very very Rare...
****-Need Special Mining Unit...i dont seen any planet with water... only icy planets....in every planet was Big battle and big explosions... so water are irradiated......

nope eve deals with gas mostly... and cant be protected by claiming a belt.
and mobs/rats don't attack... they spawn/warp with small numbers continuously.
EVE isn't the only game with mining in it... just the only game (i can think of) that making a char for the soul purpose of farming in space makes sense.

in this game i can't think of any way of adding farming mats with out adding and editing a lot in the game... so maybe get a bounuse from controlling a belt such as +% BP (and/or) +% cry drop rate (and/or) increase the amount of E you get per energy cell.

Maybe have a huuuugge belt, with small sectors in it, which you can capture for your clan or for yourself (last one is very hard but rewards more) then, you can invest some cry in defences... if your mining base is defeated, you will loose the cry, so you'd better be sure that youre base is safe.
