Because this one adressed an earlier problem, and therefore might not get answered for this one

That was my logic. If a solution is found, then why return to a place regarding the problem before the temporary solution? There are examples of this strewn throughout the forum... unfortunately.

Believe me, having one location, I'm all for it... but it doesn't seem to be happening...

Edit: That, and I haven't seen any responses regarding this yet. So I don't think the Now issue is grasped just yet. So a little forumspam ain't necessarily a bad thing ^_^

There are isolated issues for individuals sometimes too. Therefore, how else to determine when it's not?

Because when the problem arises again, the original topic will get more posts signifying that there's something going on again. Also, forum mods generally dislike multiple topics dealing with the same topic. It comes of as spam and usually get locked to keep matters in one topic. Just an FYI.

Anyways, I tried the server again and it's still offline.
It doesn't help that it's the weekend so that will undoubtedly make their response time much slower on this matter.

Update: All incoming to my prior thread should now head to this one.
I left a little note, and altered the main topic of the noted post in order to get it noticed.
I'll switch up the initial one a lil-bit, and thanks for the heads up foxfire.
Though spam wasn't the intention, I can see how it might be taken as such.

I have been able to logon to the server. Recently, however, I have experienced an issue of being in orbit, with no option to fly to the surface or dock. I experienced this directly after downloading the game client. Am I missing something here? I also have the same issue on the browser.

Gotta love having technical problems on the weekend, eh? Employee's are off work enjoying their weekend which is always good for them. You can't work 24/7 or you'd go nuts. One hopes that servers and systems are fully functional and operational for those 2 days or so that you're not in the office especially when those systems are actively serving other people..so when things go wrong on the weekend, expect some pretty hefty delays on things going back to normal (unless it's something more severe than what's going on now.)

I was able to get on up until an hour or two ago, but now it's just kicking me back to the 'select server' window.

This problem's getting rather annoying

so you guys are having this problem also...after i log on and select server and then select Ok from the News menu...it just stays at the screen...

Yeah, and if you let it sit for a minute or so, then it kicks you back to the 'select a server' window.

Same problem as yesterday, just as annoying

I think it blew out for good this time... I just slept a good 12 hours and it still isn't working.

Turns out I knew enough spanish and enough symbols to break the language barrier with a combination of know how and syntax implications xD > WOOT
In addition, if I detect cruelty, I also know how to make rude gestures out of syntax ^^

By the way, on attempting to access solaria, it did something curious this time around.
It didn't freeze up after it gave me the "Unable to connect" box. It just spat me back to the servers.
So therefore, someone's clearly doing something topside ^^ What a relief.

After the servers came back all my buttons to go to Orbit, Planet, Hangar, Missions disappeared and my Tactical Map disappeared. I'm stuck up here in space and I can't do anything!

Did the server just go down AGAIN?!?!? I was returning to Vega 4 and when I was supposed to reach orbit, it's stuck forever on the loading screen.

Edit: Server is indeed down again. I'm stuck in the infinite loop of server selection screen/News screen over and over again. *sigh*

My little brother is on the computer downstairs. He has not been kicked. He's on vega 1 of Solaria as I type.

So yeah. Wolfie's discovery is as follows:

It won't lag you off the server after the node goes, provided that you DON'T LEAVE YOUR ORBIT OR
YOUR LOCATION! If you're in orbit, stay there. xO

Yeah... problem is ya'll probably won't know until after you've left the planet or orbit... siblings ftw xD

If you die, stay in the pod if you have any warning xD You can at least chat it up while you wait that way.

Server's down again. I find it rather suspicious that this happens in the evening when the server load is likely a lot higher. I think maybe the server is having a hard time keeping up with the demand.

And of course, as I'm in the middle of typing this I try again and it works. Figures
