Smilies in pirate galaxy

I have a suggestion, why aren't there smilies in the chat of pirate galaxy? I mean in-game?
Is it possible to add smilies? If anyone agrees with me post your reply.

second of all, spam
ppl will spam with smilies, it doesn't have to be, but there is a big chance.
