-my ships on all servers have started to fire and collect on there own:! -will you developers please stop that!?!
OK, I just had my blasters do this for the first time. I tried out double clicking on an e-ball to test the double-click theory and true, it autoselects and starts to collect, but the collector charges and discharges as normal. When this 'bug" does it, the collector is grayed out and collecting. I think that the two are unrelated. Also, when the blaster one did it, I had just selected a mantis and it autoblasted, BUT the blasters were grayed out, not like normal. Again, I do not think this is a case of double-click automation since the bug one has the device grayed out not like in normal operation. Honestly, this hasn't presented a problem for me, but possibly might if you click on a red while you are PM and you accidentally fire at them. They probably wouldn't understand that it is a bug lmao.Delloda said:I can only think of 3 possible reasons for this:
- Seems like it could be a lag issue with the client catching up with your actions.
- Did you know that when you double click on an enemy you will select him and attack? If you double click on an energy orb you will select and auto collect.
- Maybe your mouse is giving up on you and you need a new one. I had a situation that i was playing very popular FPS shooting game, that my mouse began to automatically double click every time i clicked the mouse. Ended up shooting friendlies in the back all the time.
