-i have seen for some times now that some gamemasters on askone "ask" for english language only, in public chat. -i think that all language should be accepted on all servers, in confidence to that people write their best. -anyway, worldlanguage as english, spanish and french should always be accepted.
-i have pilots on all servers, and i would get a hell if i was forbidden to write in english as i don´t speak much german and lesser french and spanish:! -but i try to learn the best i can, and sometimes i can guess what is written in these strange languages;)
-i don´t think that it have to hurt anybody to see another language in the chat, or am i somehow totally wrong there?!?
(written in the best english for a dane, with the best hope for common sense and acceptance for all:)

Unless they have changed the rules, there is nothing that says you must speak english on Askone. I am an English speaker myself but do not really care if I see someone speaking another language in chat.

When I ask GM's about this they say there is no rule against it but there is a rule against not doing what a GM says. Seems pretty lame to me. Using this logic, having a rule against not doing what a GM says is the only rule you would need. :D

I'll explain, The gm's are accepted to be gm's on each server.
If the players would speak all languages, how do you think the gm's can moderate the chat, unless you request each gm should know 15-20 languages?

So you think it is ok someone speaking other language gets away breaking the CoC when the gm doesn't even understand what they are saying, nor other players than those speaking the same language?

Not either would it be easy, nor right to request that all gm's on patrol should write all chat they seen in translator tool, and after that see if the translation was really good or not, the translators do not translate words what aren't in a dictionary, aka swearwords and foul language would not be seen anyway.

So now do you understand why each server has their own language what should be spoken?

You are right, it is not in the rules, but these are those issues where you should use your common sense, as the gm's does.

All languages can be spoken in PM aka Private Chat, Clan Chat or in Squad Chat.

The Rule is English Language on The English & International (Kalgan) Servers in Public & GM Chats. If you feel that you have to speak another language Please take it to a Private Chat, Clan Chat or Squad Chat

Askone is en was an english server but the language u were using didnt matter for a long time ago. No one actually cared about it since a few months ago. Now people telling u must use english in PC or u will get muted.
I am srry to say this but I speak any language when or whenever i want ( and lots of pilots agree with me). Normally it wouldnt bother me but now it does.

This cause someone after more then 1.5 years get an brilliant idea to put a rule in to have to talk english in askone. and if u dont like it move it. That's the attitude i get from "people". Well i played this game over a year, even more, and i lvled up spend lots of time on my acount in askone and then i have to leave if i dont want to speak english??? cmon people

YEAH SS, ALLOW DUTCH!

There are really a lot of dutch (&belgian) people on askone, same for scandinavian and polish, but you really think that we will leave to Kalgan only to rerank their? Come on, think SS, think.

I really think that Kalgan is 70% german, and then you turn it international? The only server that should be international is Askone!

Ever since Gamigo Days the Language on Askone has been English. Askone, Solaria & Aeria are all English Servers, there fore the Language on them is English. I dont mind occasionaly hearing Dutch, German, French, Indonesian. Farsi, Tagalog etc but do tell Pilots to Please Speak English in any Public or GM Chat. If you feel you cannot or will not abide by this request, Please tell me why. I would not like to punish people for speaking their Native Language, but it is a PG Rule. You may speak freely in Private, Clan or Squad chat in your Native Language
