Rival Clans stealing Members

As said on the Topics Title is one of the most annoying things in the entire game which is other people from other clans stealing your members especialy under the promise of "help". This is just unfair game play and second to cheating and hacking. Most people who are Antares and Gemini will fool for this but is still unfair on other clans who are trying to get members and I think most people will agree with me.

Did it ever occur to you that these clan members have left for a better clan, which makes me think the clan you are with really needs to get its act together to keep members happy and interested so that they stay.

And why should pilots not go with different clans, it gives people a good insight as to what is going on in PG and they will make more friends too.

If you can't hang on to your members get a better recruiting stratergy, like offering to "help" up and coming pilots, it works both ways you know and there is nothing unfair about it, the best clans get the best pilots.

oh and you might want to retract the cheating and hacking comparison, or be prepared for incoming.

You arn't getting the point, Small minor clans like mine need members to cerstain them, and i do help alot when i'm online or asked but when people in other clans come along ans steal members it makes the game unfair.

Being a Clan Admiral is not an easy task. If you want members to stay with your clan you need to have the Insight, Knowledge & Perspective to know what makes ALL your Clan M8s Happy. If they are looking for Help - be there to Help, If they are looking for a Friend(s) - be there as a Friend, If they want a Squad Buddy(s) - Be there for a squad - Above All Else Be There for The Clan - Dont be to Hard on your Clan Rules yet base your rules around those that govern PG - Just some words from an Ex-Clan Admiral - I wish you the Best

Other Clans dont "Steal" Members - They Leave for what they feel is Greener Pastures in another Clan & there is no Rules against another Clan making offers to members of different clans

Good One Astraeus, After all it's a Pirate Galaxy, rivalries between clans isn't against a rule in Pirate Game Keep your members in your clan happy to keep them, and try to bribe your rivals clan members to join "The Dark Side"

Well...I thought your post on red = dead was the most ridiculous post on the english forum...but this has topped it...stealing clan members is almost as bad as cheating/hacking???....may be an idea of offering assistance before you let unreliable players join your clan...in real life it is called a vetting process..

Before you even consider helping someone check the mission ( I imagine you do) that they want help with...if it is possible solo (which most are with a little application and thought) then consider if the player is worthy of being in your clan...if it is a particularly hard mission then....

1. does the player you are helping have to fill as soon as you get into orbit? (lazy and lacks the ability to plan ahead)
2. does the above player let you do the mission? (freeloader and genetically lazy)
3. does the above player get half way through a mission and then have to go?? (forward planning skills poor...unreliable)
4. has the player attempted the mission solo and more than just once?? (lacks determination...again lazy)

Just 4 criteria I would use prior to recruiting someone. if someone jumps ship would you want them watching your back anyway???

Mmm, yes, it's hard to get members when you have these certain other people who will push anyone to sol if they jump in line with their power block... But, as has been said, why would you want such people? Well, it's not that you want such people, it's that you want people... And there's not very many good people to be had.
