Repeated buying of bought items?

Why do we have to repeatedly buy an item when we have previously bought it and upgraded to a new model?

Example: Bought: Ion Storm Blaster (Vega)
Upgraded to: Ion Thunder Blaster (Antares)
Then when I go back to Vega to do white missions I will be forced to buy the Ion Storms again or use an inferior ship. :frown:
Is this really neccessary?

I might be lazy because I can seek the mantis out myself but its inconvenient.

i agree, those harvs are so much easier and less time consuming then the annoying whites,

Some players like to complete a system with SM and WM, and has not necessarily anything to do with the achievement.

You are requested to use system tech, and ship for to do missions on respective system, is it anyway not good to upgrade a Vega ship with Antares tech if you think of the future ingame, where you might be interested to join a clan that participates in Cqs, those has exactly the same rules, or to join an event at Colossus where the request is Vega tech & ship.

Every system has it's own ships & tech for their system.

If you are a skilled Antares player, you will also be skilled enough to do any mission at Vega with Vega tech.
I have friends who's done all missions at Vega with transporter, so there should not be any problem.

Rather than upgrading a Vega ship with Antares tech, the cry could had been gathered and saved in order to buy a proper Antares lvl 18 ship and install proper Antares tech on that one.

If a skilled player, you can farm the harvesters even at Lustra.

-standardmissions can always wait, and you can always downgrade your vegaship with vegatech when you get an antaresship and have a good economy for future investments -and don´t forget to recycle so that you will get half of the price in refund.
