First of all, gemini geiger blaster is stronger than fusion tempest, second of all it's because they are the best bp of its kind in that system therefore costs a lot more, as you cant use antimatter bp's in a mizar conquest therefore mmb is the best available, and they can drop from any mantis from any level( not including ships i dont think) whereas VVB are dropped anywhere in vega but ion storm is vega 4 exclusive, Hope this has bought some clarity to your question.
