Rare items visual graphics

Ok every ship has it's own item that has a visual graphic on the user or enemy. I will us the storms aim pc as an example. The aim pc graphic is a red circle around your ship so if the rare one was used it would be purple. Same with a purple perforator and a purple thermoblater on the ships. A stuncharge would look lighter blue. Aggrobomb is a red blast and a rare bomb would be a purple blast. And repairs fields and targets are normally green, the rare one would be purple like in the items color.

i love the idea it would be something else so other ppl can see you have rares and what rares and you dont need to scan him so it would be cool a purple aim i would love that

Thats a great idea, everyone can see if you have rare blasters - so why not everything else too!

Just to add to X4-JET's idea,

You could have like a sonic boom effect around a ship when using the rare AB or throwing up a dust cloud behind your ship as you "whooooooosh" past other pilots.

When you use your rare repair droid, you could have a green mesh envelope your ship which would contain the green nano-bots you already see whizzing around you but at a much higher speed.

When you target somethong for collecting with your rare collector, you could have a 'mini cyclone' swirling furiously - burst out from your ship and wrap around the item .

Now that would take all the fun out of it for you PVP players. You would not have to scan your enemy to see if you stand a chance. lol

Just because they have fancy graphics, doesn't mean that you no longer need to scan them...The graphics would be the same if it was a vega rare or a sol rare...

You would still scan them to find out exactly what they have before a pvp anyway..... so whats the difference?

yes, the icon onscreen does.....

But the rep field when used is large green canopy,..... imagine a purple canopy for the rare rep field

and other nice effects for the other rares

Well rare items effects would be the same color as the items image so not all items will be purple just the combat items would be
