Quick chat message speed

Hello everyone

I want to know what you guys and girls think about the „new“ quick chat message speed. (Quick chat is the half transparent, quadratic chat on the left side of the game).

I think with the last Changelog on March 14th the speed increased a lot. Due to the higher speed, I often have to open the chat menu (= main chat) but you can’t fly and fight very well when I always have to open this menu to answer messages or to just check if I maybe missed a message from a friend.

For me I can just say: it’s too fast, and I would like to have the “old” message speed back

But as I also know one(!) guy that says: no it’s better now cause it keeps my game more “clean”, I decided to ask in the forum what everyone is thinking about it.

As I don’t have permission to create a poll here in the english forum, I try it this way (please respond with either A), B) or C) and maybe some additional message):
What do you think about the „new“ quick chat message speed

• A) It’s perfect as it is now
  B) The Messages should stay longer (like it was a few weeks ago)
  C) I didn’t noticed a difference

Or you have just readed it when there have been little more conversations going on same time on multiple channels

(Also if you get small lags between you and server, it may look in chat like theres nothing going on and suddenly there comes many lines of text after lag is over)

On my own opinion, chat menu is much better to use. For me it fits pretty well to upper part of game window and doesnt affect my playing on surface..

I agree with Burning Ice. I preferred the slower message speed as it was a few weeks ago. I go with her option B

With the slower speed you can see chat even while fighting. As it is now you can miss too much in a fight or even if a lot of chat is happening. I prefer the transparent chat panel because it brings up all messages public, clan and private and you don't have to choose like in the dedicated chat panel you open up.
