Took my time to write this, hope this answers some questions...

Shocking news

- I am a bit confused, is this not a pvp game anymore? Yes it is a pvp game, but you may notice some ppl want to change it.
- If I pod a low level player would I get punished? It's about the player, and about the staff member.
- But if the pod low level ship rule comes to the CoC? Well i guess ppl would follow the rule, but i know still this; it makes no sense for a pvp & pve sci-fi game, at list what I think.
- Is this not pirate galaxy anymore? Duuh, the game is named Pirate Galaxy, but with to many rules you may wonder.
- Ain't it the same as +2 vs 1, like pod low level? If you ask me it's as bad as podding low level, or even worse, but if you think of it it's still pvp.
- Why is podding ppl harassment? I got really no clue there, I have seen other games same as this one(that would say pvp any level), but I guess ppl love to complain to staff members about this. ^^
- Why do ppl start complaining about the smallest stuff and get big replies? I may say some got not much to do, or get bored.
- Why care about the PM, and not the bigger issues as the game it self? Well they care about the game, duuh, but we got Mod's GM's CM's that are here in the forum to replay for stuff. :shock:
- Why have they weaken up the Orbital Srike? They didn't weaken it this year (2011), just made it slower, reason; some started to complain.
- Why is parsec so strong? It ain't that strong, just got a small bonus armor, but yeah it is some kind of advantage.
- I think GMs could make more event as in the old times... Well as you can see many GMs are busy, reason's

3. bug tests, etc
Yes I agree for this; more epic funny events.

Answer: It all depends on alot of things; Yours/Their Rank Ship, Whether they are "Stalked", whether you are podding them over & over not giving them a fair chance (RL Pirates of Old had a sense of Fairness in Battle)

Answer: There is NO Glory or Honor in Podding a lower Level than you. As stated above there are conditions looked at. This is not specifically detailed in CoC but rather some of CoC already covers it. Pilots need to read the CoC Player Conduct Guideline Version 1.8.1 (CoC)

Answer: To Many Rules? All Rules for Pilots to follow are in the CoC Player Conduct Guideline Version 1.8.1 (CoC)

Why is podding ppl harassment? I got really no clue there, I have seen other games same as this one(that would say pvp any level), but I guess ppl love to complain to staff members about this. ^^
Answer: Pilots that get podded over & over repeatedly by same pilots causing disruption of their game play, missions etc is Harassing & or Grieving. This comes from the many Clan Wars that have been seen & it causes alot of dissension among Pilots & Clans rather than a fun, Pleasant Environment for alot of Pilots besides the 1 being targeted

Why care about the PM, and not the bigger issues as the game it self? Well they care about the game, duuh, but we got Mod's GM's CM's that are here in the forum to replay for stuff. :shock:
Answer: Mods are in the Forum & take care of the Forum. They have no in-game Authority. GMs do sometimes monitor Forums or reply to posts but that is not their job. GMs look for & deal with in-game issues such as bugged missions, deal with all the in-game stuff such as Language Issues, Harrassment, Grieving Issues, Fair Play Issues etc. CM on the other hand do all that GM do & a whole lot more behind the scenes that Pilots do not need to know about. If a GM or CM answers a Post, it is because they want to help Pilots along with the right information

Well when i say is podding a player a harassment, then I mean this, you pod a palyer as revenge, cus they podded some friend/alli m8 of yours etc. I wonder this to, so I am not sure what the answer will be, If some random mizar guy pods as me and I am in my gem ship doing my own business, the guy pods me and repeats it over time... then I do as revenge the same, but then I notice something the guy did report me. Should both be punished then?

i didn't meet that clever person in PG like this Mizar guy (i have luck), but:

- u can do ur businesses in PM off (ask somebody to help u turn it off )*
- u can kill him using Mizar ship and show him your skills (he should not send report to GMs)*
- u can kill him using ur Draco ship by one shot (yep this very treacherous guy will report u)
- u can make screenshot when he poded you and report him u will have peace

options with (*) r my favorite

Who say all of that will not be noticed, who say that GM Team don't do investigations about all cases?

i didn't say that in PG we don't have treacherous players i only didn't meet one (i met more players that shot to Vega/Antares players), if u or GM know that type of players and u have proof and witnesses give the names (but c'mon make a picture in photoshop to send another player to jail, for me this is insane, if we have this kind of players not only in PG but in others MMO so this genre of games soon will die or will play them such a players like your Mizar guy - i thought that we play games for fun, not for revenge even if it 'taste good with orangade' - but i see that i'm wrong)

why u asking GM if u can use my 2 options with (*) or next time support my yellow PM mode

well I talk it from personal experience, then I do not say it was me, but some friend/alli, you see a player get jailed for saying something, s/he didn't do, you just realize not everyone are as you think, + you may wonder again, does the team believe everything thing they see, you just try to find out...

You can read CoC. Also if anyone think or believe that action what is taken from any GM is not right or not fair can complain to CM via forum pm or make ticket about that issue.

some players (low/high level) try to upset you and wait when u said something bad and they will make a screenshot - the best choice is to ignore them

but if it is true that some players could cheat devs using prepared screenshot (but for me it is hard to belive that a person who is skilled in Photoshop or another tool wants waste his talent and time to make a fake picture to send somebody to jail, it is better to use such a talent to eg. earn money), i wonder that devs could implement something like that: if u want to send report with text from chat u could do this only from game, u have to click on the text in the chat and send it to GM (it could be saved as a message like we can write in ours budies profiles but we can not edit it only send from chat)

but the best solution for this kind of problems will be if we will try to be nice to each other - come on it is only a game

Ok just getting my opinion in here and i know already some may be annoyed at it might not find it fair and alot more but! i do think that the PM isnt a excuse to moan to gms yes if you have the PM bug report it but if you get podded by a draco ship or a much higher ship report but if you get podded like for example vega vs vega fair fight dont moan also after the player has been podded they are then white unless they have pm bug which should be reported to get fixed now yes some may find that if i and my clan mates found an antares ship we would get a group of vegas to kill the antares ship as yes we do find it funny and its a challenge for the clan members which they love the other night me and 6-7 vega ships took out 2 pretty much rared out antares ships and they twisted and moaned the vegas are at a fire power disadvantage! the antares storm has a perf which means the protector does nothing! nor does the sheild the rare antares tank (easter ship) has aim scram horrible :S plus extra armour and 1 blaster and a antares rocket hurts a delvianed vega! lol
now yes getting podded by a draconis in sol with sol tech or lower is nasty but sol ships with sol tech can kill draco ships aswell
just look at the game in a new light dont let this harrassment issue escalate cause all people are trying to do and im sorry if i do offend but it needs to be said all the people are trying to do is ruin the game by taking the pvp ellement out of the game or changing the pvp ellement like on american servers i believe where you need to ask for a pvp fair egnough when the persons white but when there red there a target ill gladly find a person go to hangar change my ship and hunt them down or for example a mizar ship on prosperous grinding if they are red we will set a message in alliance chat blah blah blah ... we need 8 gemini ships on pros purge the planet of the mizar enemy! also a mizar bomb ripps apart a gems hull so can the ff tech and baumar tech yes alot weaker but it can still hurt so please i ask the players of PG dont complain when you are podded i get podded tonns lol i dont complain just have a laugh

also astraeus whats wrong with clan wars yes i guess players can class it as greifing but its pvp its apart of game if the players in the clan dont wish to be podded they shouldnt go red its quite simple now a player can play this game happily with pm on pm just gives you that little boost of being possibly hunted by enemys which means you have to watch your back ive been jumped before on mars for example i was doing harvs got jumped had to ab get my tech back came back and killed the guy yes he jumped big woop i was red i have to be on my toes!

1: All reports are investigated, also the screenshots
2: No one can send another player to jail, there is the penalty structure on the CoC what is always followed.

Punishment Structure

Standard Offense Structure

1st Violation = 1st Warning
2nd Violation = 2nd Warning
3rd Violation = Mute 1 day (24)
4th Violation = Mute 3 days (72) + Jail 1 day (24)
5th Violation = Mute 7 days (168) + Jail 3 days (72)
6th Violation = Mute 7 days (168) + Jail 7 days (168) + possible Permanent Ban
7th Violation = Permanent Ban

For swearing offenses

This involves swearing in public chat and swearing in the Pilot's status window.

1st Violation = 1st Warning
2nd Violation = 2nd Warning
3rd Violation = Jail 1 day (24) + mute (48)
4th Violation = Jail 3 days (72) + mute (144)
5th Violation = Jail 7 days (168) + mute (336)
6th Violation = Permanent Ban
