Questions about the BluePrint trackers

Hello, I have always had this "Blueprint booster/tracker" and have loved it for as long as I can remember. However, recently I let it run out (to far to the store ) and have found that I am able to find Goldprints about 2x more effectively.

My question is this: Does the Blueprint tracker boost "Blueprints" AND "Goldprints" or is it called a "Blueprint" tracker for a reason? (Meaning just tracking 'Blueprints')

The term Goldprints does not exist.

There official name is Rare Blueprints, meaning that they are still blueprints, but rare. The term gold bluepirnt or gold print is just recently made since there color changed, they used to be purple.

So they should also track rare blueprints, but I am not sure if it's the case.

From my own and others experience, using the blueprint booster/tracker results in alot more "blue" print drops, and far less Rare "gold" blueprints. Argue it anyway you want, but I get more gold drops without the booster on. Blueprint booster is only good for getting top tech in a system quickly (in my opinion).

FYI there bud : If it looks like a "blueprint" but its gold, then it must be a "Goldprint".

I am correcting him so there is no differance between a "goldprint" and "blueprint" and that they are both blueprints, only the so called "goldprint" is rare.

This sounds more like a bug. I remember the same counted for the cryonite drop that was affected by blueprint boosters.

I agree, I find more rare prints without a booster than with. A Blueprint booster seams to only work for the "blue" prints and not the rare ones.

Oh, and its not just the BP booster.. I also have issues with the other boosters.. Such as:

Elite Firepower relay: Add 15% power, minus 15% accuracy.
Elite Cryonite booster: Add 25% Cryonite, minus 25% drop rate.
Elite Absorb booster: Minus 15% damage taken by mantis, add 15% chance they will hit you.

So honestly I have stopped buying these, and will not buy them again until they are fixed. I now only purchase the ones that cannot fail, like:

Elite Engine booster, Elite Membership, & Elite Cryonite Vault.

I would suggest to SS to fix it and/or to give the players refunds in gold. A bit much? Perhaps, but we also payed a bit roo much real money to get what they did not give us.

A "blueprint" is a technical drawing used to create and or recreate something. A gold aura around a blueprint is an indication that it is a system rare blueprint.

Sure... I bet that boosters do not decrease anything, the only thing that they can cause is that the boosters are not compatible with other things ingame. Like Blueprint Booster that used to decrease cryonite dropchance. But (it should be, not sure if they fixed this yet) now they are seperated.

I didn't mean technically And If you look into it, at least construction, blueprints are always blue. So yes they are there to create/re-create something, but they could have been named history-prints. But they were named Blueprints because they are all blue

And I'm not sure.. All i know is that as soon as I purchase the Elite Absorb booster, I get hit by the mantis more. I know when I purchase the Fire Power booster, I miss more. When I purchase the Cryonite booster, I get less Cryonite drops.

So all I'm saying is that the boosters are whack..

I have been using Boosters on my PIlot for some time now & do not Experience what you are describing here. A long time ago, Yes there was an issue with some Boosters, but those issues were fixed long ago.

As for more Mantis seeming to be attracted to you while using the Absorb booster, it may due to you having more Aggro then the Pilots around you. This was in an update a few weeks ago. Currently the BP Drop with a booster is better than without - Based on my Experience

sry Adrana blue in blueprint comes from it's color . In old days one made a copy whith chemicals. The chemicals made the background blue. So on the copy you original drawing appeared white on a blue background. That's where the name blueprint comes from . But now any copy of a plan or print or whatever is referred as blueprint.

In dutch the name makes more sence and would litterly be translated to Building Plan or Building Print. Same bp ^^

no a rare blueprint. ^^

rare blueprints used to be purple colored, but only now are gold colored.

Long time ago i'm test 3h BP Booster (now BP Tracker) on Korell server. It's was easy to test this issue. I make SM "Baumarian Revenge" with and without BP Booster :mrorange: And with BP Booster all drops was mostly Kryo and 2-3 BPs . I send ticket to support - they reply: it's all ok, we don't change bp drops.
After new Loot System and new BP Trackers i don't test with SM "Baumarian Revenge". You can test it on PTR, but i think on live server result of test is other

BP Boosters works, I use time by time, when I need the 3h Elite bp booster and I get a huge amount always of bp's even Gold ones less, but I get them too.

There is actually no way in the universe to prove it works If you think about it you will realize what I'm saying.. If you go for 5 minutes without a BP booster, there is no way to prove that if you had a BP booster, you would have found more. If you try a different 5 minutes WITH a BP booster, it is not the exact same scenario, thus making it IMPOSSIBLE to prove anything

actually, there is a way to prove it works, asking the devs, because they coded it. ^^
