questionable penalty system in the Conquest

Well, this comes as no surprise to anyone. This system is questionable in many ways, but it’s verging on the ridiculous.
What’s just happened to me has already happened to several of us pilots, and support isn’t helping either. Thank goodness, at least, after spending 10 minutes collecting 11 ore in Conquest, I started recording the session because I suspected what might happen, having seen similar cases, and I wasn’t wrong – I ended up being penalised with 7 days without Conquest...

Although I know there’s no point in asking for the ban to be lifted, I’d at least like this to be on record so that everyone knows what’s happening to us and, hopefully, one day they’ll find a way to improve this system... @Highway @Narokath

Oh you can ask the support for it... But they will respond that they can do it only one time per player account (proof or not, they don't care anyways)...

Oh and of course, don't hope for any kind of compensation for the time and reward lost.

About compensation, I want to gently clarify that we’re not able to offer anything for time lost in cases like this. The support team did review everything carefully, and lifting the full one-week ban was already an exception they made to help you out.
"Already an exception", fixing issues caused by a shitty system is an exception, remove penalties from player that respected the rules is an exception... Oh we already lifted a ban? Too bad enjoy your one week ban. That's how little they actually care about time you lost invested in the game.

Oh you got a record of the conquest proving you were active and did nothing wrong? Ahah don't care, enjoy your penalty,

Seriously how many time the parameter of this system need to be adjusted to understand that this system (probably spaguetti flavored) don't work correctly and keep causing issues and should be re-made from 0? Oh can't wait for a staff member coming to tell there is just not devs to do something about it, you know they're to busy copy-pasting the same events for years and teasing a big update that maybe just maybe will go live before the release of Star Citizen, who know?

Staying in denial or ignore the issues affecting the game won't change anything except make players go away from it.

I'm not going to try to defend the system, because yes, it has flaws, but the video doesn't leave much to be desired either. I mean, the first 10 minutes aren't recorded, okay, but to have collected 10-11 ores in all that time, assuming you were alone doing that, seems like a very small amount for that time, but okay

Now, with the video as evidence, you have 11 ores, you start a fight and die, this is already at 2:14, you revive at 3:48, you revive with your squad leader, you don't collect any ores, you don't kill anyone and you die again at 4:13, you revive at 5:53, once revived you kill only 1 person at 7:16, from there you don't collect any ores or kill anyone until 9:17 when you engage and die at 9:39, you revive at 12:56 (the game almost revived you automatically btw)

You kill one person and die again at 13:22, revive at 14:56, kill another person, and die again at 17:18. You revive at 20:20 (the game almost automatically revives you again), kill another person, and die just 20 seconds after reviving. At 22:16, you revive again with the leader. This is where the final fights begin, where you reunite with your team, and you don't fire your first shot until 24:43

This might sound harsh, but we're talking about 12:43 seconds of being dead. Then there's the fact that during the time you spent between dying and reviving, you didn't collect any ores and only killed one person in better case. You say you collected ores in the first 10 minutes, but we're talking about 10 ores in 10 minutes. I don't know how this system works, but the most intuitive explanation is that you need a minimum of... ores and/or minimal damage done during the 45 minutes of the cq, and it wasn't until the last 10 minutes that you had a more active participation, because the rest was dying and basically doing nothing

Hi @Meruem

As the recording is for 35 minutes, can I assume you landed a bit late? Keep in mind that total time spent on planet is also factored. I would recommend all pilots to select a ship, join squads etc. and land in 2 minutes as a safeguard (especially if you are prone to crashes).
