Cortexes are regular part of gameplay which includes pvp's. So there are no restrictions on its use. Also please make sure to ask questions strictly related to the tournament here.

Yes they are , But using gravitons in pvp's takes skill out of the equation and for fair fights in the tournament it was decided to be restricted. Cortexes on the other hand don't make or break a fight as much. We also can't ask pilots to remove them just for a tournament.

I agree with gravitons, I assumed you would be able to disable cortex on a planet?

Cortex aren't disabled in purpose as they are a more internal part of the ship composition, just like drones. Gravitons are often seen as an additional asset than while it can be used strategically, it doesn't fit as well into the PvP Arena point of view.

Tournament is ment to be also a way to make use of those hard earned tech / features like drones, BP's, ships and cortexes.

And it is not mandatory to do, it is completely optional. Afterall its a PvP event.

Would love a 'common target' function in the squad team. Where members can check a box for 'common target' and the members target function will go wherever squad leaders target is selected.

While it would be an amazing feature also seen in similar games, it is something that is beyond what me, as a CM can do, this feature would require programming and therefore it isn't really related to Q&A of tournament
