Basically i got this idea from looking at what other players wrote on the forums. A PVP planet, but with a twist.
Someone brought up the idea for there to be an elite level... Well I think it's great idea so how about we have that elite level on a PVP planet.
There'll be mantis on the surface as well as other pilots in pirate mode, and the mantis will be a few ranks higher than the other mantis in the system. Soo, in Sol for example the highest ranked mantis iis 60, so on the pvp world you'd get upto rank 65s, however, unlike the rank 65s in Gazica, these ones will only ever drop rare blueprints or cryonite, nothing else. Of course the rare prints will have the same drop rate to that of the rest of sol, it wouldn't be an elite world other wise... duhh.
Here's the fun part that really makes it an Elite level PVP world though
The requirements for unlocking the planet and being able to land on it are:
You must complete all the systems story missions and unlock the next system.
Also all of the systems' white missions must be completed.
Rules and other little things:
You're only allowed to use technology from the same system as the planet is in. (so if it's on Sol then you are only allowed to bring sol technology down to the surface).
You can only land in pirate mode.
Mantis will only drop rares from the system they are in (that's obvious but I thought I'd put it there anyways O.O)
Only Adult pirates can land on the planet... AKA if ya don't like getting podded then stick to the other worlds you won't be welcome on the pvp planet. Or in other words don't moan when you die cuz that just adds a big pod me sign to your back
The cryonite drop rates would be 5-10% higher than on normal planets (it's an elite world, at least make the rewards reflect that.
There'll be a starbase in orbit of the planet just like on a CQ world.
The energy balls will be worth 50% more than what they would be on other planets of the same system.
There will be tough Bohemoth type mantis on teh surface, so don't think it'll be a piece of cake just popping the little guys.
Mantis will have a higher aggression range but only on that PVP planet.
That's all I can think up for now... I'm sure a little more may come in time ^.^
