Problems with game loading

I can not log in to the game It launches but after it gets to the pirate galaxy screen it says loading then freezes. So all I have is the logo on a blue screen. I tried at both sites and with the download with no luck. I have run the connection tool and it said everything was alright and I just updated java so If anyone knows what I am forgeting would appreciate it.

I HAVE THE EXACT same problem :/ it was working fine 3 hours ago, now its just the blue screen of death

Everytime i start either the client or in my browser, it just says loading for a second and then stays at the pirate galaxy blue screen, nothing else happens

Any help would be great.....

one of the reasons for this is it could be that they are adding a new galaxy or the log in screen has crashed if this helps anything

LOL it dont help as I too am having the same issue along with a few of my clan mates. Game crashes then when you try to log back in, get the blue back ground with the PG logo and freezes. Open processes and it shows its using CPU but never makes it to the log in screen. I have tried multiple things and nothing worked so I guess its off to playing Dark Orbit again tonight.

I have been having same issue all night also. I have narrowed it down to either a remote Portal has gone down or the Validation Server has gone down. This issue has been reported & should be fixed soon. Anyone in game is having no problems however. It appears to be affecting primarily those on the US Server Solaria. Will keep you all posted
