hey guys can anyone help me i just installed a nividia pci geforce fx5200 256mb and installed the drivers for vista 32 bit and i go to play pg and the playing seems to be really sluggish and i already have direct x 10

Perhaps you need to clean up your hard drive, run adaware, and anything else you can think of. Also it might be an idea to go to the nividia site and down load the latest drivers from there

i have the latest driver i can get and i already clean up my hardrive but it still runs sluggish like maybe the video card might be defective

It may be the new card you just got. The 5k series are fairly old and don't play newer games very well.

All you can do is make sure everything is up to date and lower the graphics settings in game.

hey i just found out my brother has been playing with a 512mb onboard video card and i believe 256mb maybe not enough to play this game smoothly i can still play pg but somewhat sluggishly when at max resolution of 1600x900 which is the resolution of my monitor

also might be if you have a dul-core processor you might need to download an optimizer.

the fx5200 is the lowest grapics card in the nvidia range most motherbored on bored graphics are alot faster than the 5200, the 5200 has been around about 7 years now, go out and buy a better graphics card something like a nvidia gt240 or gt220, no matter what you do the 5200 will be rubbish no matter what ram or processor you have
