Make it so when your a pod you can still open the map and target things, I hate being in a pod on Earth with no location of where I am then engis cant mat me, I have to describe whats around me for the engi to find me

Please add the map please, saves everyone time, cry and e

I fly my engie 80% of the time and when someone says im at the e-field it does not help or him/her. There is 7 or 8 e-fields on earth.............So yes great idea

I actually do agree with you. This is a good idea, and I don't believe it's all that hard to manage.
I could be wrong.
However, the programming exists as an interface for the ship already, so I imagine it's a relatively simple task to attach it to the pod in a small update! Heck, maybe it can even be done with a patch. O_O

Usually if im about to pod (and as zeri can confirm it happens A LOT), i try to get my map open before i pop, but an engi never comes so... ^^
but i agree, this is really starting to annoy me. get it sorted!!

I usually get claustrofobic in my pod when I can't see the map.
I also would love the ability of map to be used from the pod so you stop feeling so lonely and abandoned till the Engineer finally arrives. meaning IF he/she finds u.

id like to be able to just pedal around in my pod if i die, and of course the mantis couldnt attack you and you cant attack them, but the one and only thing you could do is explore the maps with impunity.
and drop snarky comments to people for not rematting you. ^^
