Here the Totally Noob Guide (Vega only) to complement the thread Pirate Galaxy Guide.

Totally Noob Guide to Pirate Galaxy

Getting started :
1st mission to get 10 cryonite
Instead of shooting alone the drones be wise and shoot what Bill Darius shoot and if You are lucky to not be alone on surface You can shoot other drones targeted by other pilots npc Bill Darius shoot, you can check the damage and shoot it ( u can follow the shadows)
Do not stop until you get at least 120-130 cryonite in this way and to gain at least level 3
Finish all tutorial missions (the blue ones):
At Tutorial: The Significance of Energy gather at least 100 energy
At Tutorial: Buy New Spaceship buy the new level 3 AnIn-1300 Light Transport
Follow the story missions
After the Tutorial: Steal Mantis Technology do not instal the afterburner on the phoenix wait until You finish more tutorials!
At Tutorial: Blaster Installation buy the new blaster for the new AnIn-1300 Light Transport not for the phoenix be sure you are level 4 so You can buy the new blaster and the afterburner for this ship!
You can either take next story mission or You can stay to shoot level 6 sentinels and start to shoot them until You get level 5 and at least 200-220 cryonite, anyway be sure at this time you gained level 4 and you have a full energy tank 1000!
Continue story missions until you reach Interplanetary Travel
At this moment Interplanetary Travel own around 300 cryonite or more
Go to interplanetary travel, unlock Axiom, while you travel there unlock Colossus, they require have aprox same time
Once you arrived to axiom orbit do not start any story missions
Unlock the following planets : Lyris, Aurora and the Vega Stargate
If you want the Vega Explorer Achievement you can unlock all planets but this will be enough for all Vega Storyline also you some cryonite
Stay on the surface of Axiom and start to shoot level 6 Eliminators, since you are level 5 u can install the new blaster they drop
Stay on Axiom until you gained level 8 than go to Lyris search level 8 Eliminators and kill them until u get the new blaster and level 10
Once you are level 10 go to Aurora and start to kill level 10 avengers on landing zone to obtain the new blaster
Unlock Phobos, go to hangar and install the new blaster kill the mantis on the landing zone until you reach level 12
Make sure you reach level 12 and at least 3300 cryonite
(An alternative way to gather cryonite and to reach level 12 is to ask a high level buddy if you have
If you can get help from a high level pilot who can shoot y0u harvesters on aurora and to obtain the AnIm X-tank is the best option)
Once you gained level 12 go to Axiom and start over the story missions until you reach Operation Smuggler Shut Down
Be sure u have all best blueprints u can have from Aurora(ask somebody to hep you need only 5-10 minutes to have them)
Start the story mission : Operation Smuggler Shut Down but do not finish it, once the new ships are available go to colossus and make some shopping : the new level 10 ship best choice is the AnIn-2000 Space Tank
Start over the Operation Smuggler Shut Down story mission with this new ship
At this point you have all you need from vega system, don't need any help to finish the Vega Story
Complete all story missions to get acces to Antares system
A hint for last vega story mission : Behemoth Battle dont rush ahead to shoot the behemoth, kill the avengers patroling there from the firing range and not let the two nps to get killed, there are like 9 avengers kill them one by one than you can enter the mission are to finish it
At this point you are level 13 at least, finish last mission and go to Antares Gate
Once Arrived at Antares System unlock only 2 planets : Terasa and Lustra
Go to Terasa hangar and buy for the Vega ship u have the 2 available armors that's very important
Ask help from a high level for best Lustra blueprints , best choice is AnIn-D35 Fire Storm but you can choose tank class too up to you
Once you have the blueprints with the vega ship you already have go to Terasa and travel to the far top right corner
There you can start to shoot level 20 rocketeers they will drop a lot of rare blueprints and 2 top terasa ones
That's is the best place to level up and to gain cryonite, be sure to collect all that drops this way u never need to go to an energy field since you can refill the energy with blueprints
Stay at that spot until you are level 20 and you have at least 12000 cryonite
Go to orbit buy the new Antares Storm with all the tech you have and start the Antares Story
Now you can start to find a clan!

If you are lucky enough to have the rare vega X-tank
the benefit is that you can do all the vega story starting from Axiom with that ship once you are level 12 so even if you are not colonial and not unlocked the story mission that let you have the AnIn type ships , well its the easiest way to finish the Vega Story
