OS Made useless

The change to the Sniper ships have made them completly useless in a PvP, there intial attck charge is 2 seconds slower, which means u can AB from it or if u have a decent Speed Booster so it's completly useless in a PvP. So the change was unnessacery.

Be smart! Go the oposite way of your opponent for a few seconds, then turn, as you go through your opponent (or a second before) use the orbitalstrike. Your opponent will most likely follow you as you turn around, so he/she will stay inside the OS range and get struck by it ^^

Yeah? so?
If you are a smart pvper (me, v1-hyper and gang, buccanearBill, etc...) You can EASILY AVOID THE OS.
Its not a problem. it is like eating the icing off the cake when noone is looking. and then getting seconds after everyone else is finished.
If you discount the OS from a sniper, it is worthless.
For example, i killed two reds yesterday with OS alone. I wouldnt have killed them if i didnt have os.....
also, i have to time the os now against mantis .... or they escape it! GAH!
And in PVP, sniper wasnt that good against a Parsec, died every time. without the orbial strike, its like fighting a lower system ship.....

lol sniper was never the best pvp ship, it was stunner, and all was will be, btw yeah sniper was a great ship should be beat any ships, and get beaten by any ( maybe not engi, duuh ), yes if u even got 1.5 seconds to act, u can ab away it, or if u got a speed booster, you can just fly away, it's simple, I play maybe 1-6 min, and that is just to say hi, donate log-file, and say bb, I am very mad what SS done, and I guess, they wanna remove sniper as a pvp ship, and be used instead to be a boring grinder, well I got no idea what they want, but they should turn os to back, or the os price lowed big time, cus it's almost useless at 1v1.

No thats not what i am saying, I dont expect the sniper to beat the parsec, at least not without some serious luck involved.
The sniper should perform the way SS advertised it: as "quick killer", high damage in small amount of time, but low damage in large amount of time. At the moment, it is not living up to those expectations.

i have defeated sol snipers with my storm 1v1 quite often and it is ridiculous how much they SUCK.
sure its a close fight but i dont even sweat when fighting a sol sniper.

stun ships are easy to beat if they dont run and then come back in the fight
