orbital strike on players in pvp

has anyone else noticed orbital strike takes ages to explode when your fire it at another player in pvp yet it goes off really fast when you fire it at mantis PLEASE tell me this is a bug cos if it isnt you have killed the sniper ship well and truely please sort this out asap please you could crawl away from the orbital strike now and still not have it hit you

i noticed also i realy stupid you use OS and the player can run for the os before its hit him

lol he doesnt even have to run he could walk its that slow lol, please splitscreen please say you aint done this on purpuse cos first of you NERFED it plan and simple now you make it so a 1 legged dog can get away from it now, while your at it ss why not take all the weapons off the sniper ship and just gaffa tape a pen knife to the front of it so we can scratch everyones paint work, why oh why do you keep havin to mess around with thing messing things up and making more people unhappy, are you really tring to put yourself out of business with the none stop rule changes and none stop changing of ship weapon powers your really starting to make this game not fun at all for alot of ppl, but will you listen????? not a chance, ss listen to the 80% of ppl that aint happy now cos that 80% are paying your wages and if they aint happy then your not getting paid

Just did some testing on this and it seems that it is a lag issue rather than code. All my Orbital strikes deliver fast attacks. I was testing with a few other sniper pilots and one of them had persistent long deployment while another had long deployment for about 5 minutes than it was fine. The guy with persistent slow strikes also got fixed after a while.

We do not do unannounced game play balance changes.

I also had this problem dont get why a lag problem would only affect a pvp and not also pve also think I had this problem on the ptr before the draconis release but never before that

not a chance is it a lag problem so please fix in pve its fine and its never ever lagged it goes off as fast as it should but in pvp it takes 3 times as long so how is this lag??? it is a code issue and not lag

Agreed. How comes in sol IT NEVER did anythng wrong and now in draconis it takes ages to hit? Come on, dont always say its lag caused, when you know exactly its not.

i was killing 66 signors and os never missed a beat for 4 hours but as soon as another red came along and we pvped my os took 3 times as long to go off and the same with his friend that tried it after but as soon as i went back to killing signors it was fine again. come on splitscreen this isnt lag or it would do it all the time in pve and pvp but it ONLY does it in pvp and it does it everytime in pvp. are you sure this is not one of them bugs that effect only some players not all

Looks like a bug not lag, my comp hardly lags but assoon as Draconis was released, sorry if this is going offtopiv, i've been getting lag, and my graphics setting is on Medium, so why am i lagging?

i've tested this and i get no wait between orbital stikes on mantis or players.

i just got on pg after holiday and was killing lz mantis and my os worked fine too i haven't tried other ppl though

this is lag issue as Delloda did say same problem ;) and some times it will work total fine :eek: and some times to fast strikes xD

as i said this could be a bug that is effecting only some players but mine and others os works fine on mantis its in pvp thats the problem. if it was just a lag issue this bug would happen with mantis as well but it only ever happens in pvp and its all the time in pvp

The only way to verify this is for me to login to your account is to test this. As soon as the admin login is fixed i will do this.

Not saying you are wrong either! We need to be able to replicate it here so we know where in the code to look and try to fix it if it exists. Could easily be some rogue line of code doing it! who knows? Reproduction is the only key to this mystery!

It happened to me to. When I OS mantis it goes off instantly. When I was pvping Cepheus it didnt go off until 5 seconds later.
