orbital strike in pvp hit me as well still

i thought you had sorted this bug out???? orbital strike still hits me as well in pvp, storms dont get hit by there own blast from rockets so please dont tell me its ment to be like that cos its just lame

No it doesn't, i just tested about 5 times with players on earth and yes, i did remember to turn protection off and neutral off. ^^

To be honest i believe that it should also damage your own ship since indirect splash damage weapons pretty much always do as a norm.

yeah delloda it should damage you too if your too close it isn't like rocket....

Until you find out its range is less than the blaster and then if you still think it should damage you, you are possibly crazy or hate people with snipers. lol

storm rockets dont damage the ship that fires it with spash damage no matter how close you are to the blast, ether im goin mad cos if im too close to my strike it seems to hit me which takes power out the hit i make on the person im fighting cos the damage is shared,but if you say it doesnt delloda i will take your word for it bud

i tested it by shoot orbital strikes on a few red players and charging in with GM ship speed set to 5 so i could fly right in the blast radius. No damage. The players also concluded that this myth is busted. ^^

To hit yourself its like a 25/75 chance.. I had one fight with wellard one time on Moon.. He used orbital on me. I was on a hill and it went below me thus missing me, But the blast killed his attack drone... so maybe sometimes it damages you. sometimes it dont, if it does.. well your just unlucky.. also the same.. sometimes it will kill your drone, other times it wont.. if it does get destroyed even more unlucky for you
