noob questions about blue prints.

hi iv been playing this game for about and hour and i can say right now iv been trying to find a game like this for months and im loving it so far but... i need to find some blue prints (one of the hardest parts of other games iv played with blue prints in).

so where do i find them where are they most likely to drop (i.e what do i attack and what level).

any help would be appreciated.

Hello there and Welcome to PG

First of all, there is no such as Noob Questions, questions are made to acquire data you don't know, any new player need to get info from somewhere, and good is to do questions, and very good is to use this forum to get answer from more experienced players, we are here for you all.

For the start you are on Planet Kalabesh, do the Story Missions so you can move on to higher planet, the next one is Axiom, and you will find loads of Mantis, these are the enemies what you will kill, and they do drop bp's and cry (Cryonite).

The bp's they drop will either have tech for your ship, or Paint bp's for it.

When you are following the Storyline by doing missions, it will take you further and higher, you will level, have access to new tech, and ships. Mantis will drop each time higher level bp's.

So you will figure out quite fast what they drop.
You have also the possibility on each planet to do WM's aka White (standard) Missions, these will specify to you what mantis you will kill. There are wm's for bp's and wm's what are Killing missions.
These will bring you a bit more cry, xp & bp's.

We also have Rare bp's ingame, they are Gold ones, will drop a rare ship, or rare item to the ship.

You cant find what you want after 5 days of playing, man. You are now still into colonial (tutorial) part of the game. Then you must level up and buy new ship and then after switch to normal missions then you go to some clan, be active and you ll get what you need.

To be honest if your willing to put in the hard work getting the Anin-X Colonial Jet is worth it. Level 9 Sentinels Axiom. Other than that i suggest get lyris tech once you unlock the star map it will be good in axiom.

With some skill you can go to Aurora to get the maximum tech there, still better, but as I said you need good pilot skills with a low tech ship to get it. I've done it with a secondary Account, first get level 10 and one of the system ships then i went to kill mantis on Aurora, but only getting one mantis at a time, and moving arround in the way i just far to shoot and mantis can't hit me.

You need a level 10 ship to survive in Aroura. If you going for a tank to get its shields get an engineer instead has a much better shield.

Only problem is SS keep reducing the bp drop rate so you will have an even harder time there.

If he want rare things on any planet he must have bigger ship from the next system. It is the only way. In theory he can shoot, but results of that will be catastrophic, because he is same system tech as Mantis so he will get pod many times, lose many cryo. So, first things first.
1. Explore every planet map
2. Go to prelude.myzen.co.uk/PG/ (The only accurate webpage about PG) and on subpage Blueprints see which Mantis and where you must shoot for blue BPs you need.
3. When you obtain all BPs you need with or without help of your buddies or clan, then you farm to buy them or level up to buy them.
4. When you install those BPs in your ship, not colonial ship, but normal ship Vega 2000, with 6 tech slots (tank, storm, shock or engineer) then finish all story missions, also with or without buddies.
5. Go to next system, and do steps 1-3 on that system too, and when you are about to buy things with new ship, then you can but I suggest not, sell old Vega ship.
6. Go back to Aurora with Antares ship with antares best blue weapons and then search for rare bps (Gold Vega).

Thats the way you do in order to become pro player. If you do this steps this way you will be respected in any clan. Also, these steps cannot be changed, but there is also a faster way to get what you need, by finding a person who have big ship and will to help you from some Clan. But then you will not have respect, and you will be marked as noob.
