C.T. as my friend, clanm8, and fellow player . . . I will respect your opinion of the changes forthcoming. For myself however, nope . . . not gonna happen. I hung around untill this update as I had brought all the player issues I could think of to the CEO of Splitscreen in hopes that they would see some reason and return fun to the game. They have not done so.
As for the changes . . . unless you really want to hunt for BP's for extreme periods and then grind for weeks at a time to add the lower level BP that you were fortunate enough to get because you were farming harvesters and they and their intercepters drop the same BP's over and over, then you will need to pop open your wallet. After you pay your membership so you don't have to gather "e" every 15 minutes of play, then add "boosters" for "cry" protection, BP so you can convince yourself that you actually are getting more BP's than the next player, and the "cry" booster in hopes that you actually see a difference in your cry collection . . . You are looking at $50.00 to $60.00 per month USD on the low side. Too rich for my blood. GOOD LUCK Splitscreen!
I'll admit to being a fool, in my belief that Splitscreen was going to listen to the players and put the fun back in the game. But, I am not so much a fool that I see any part of this new game as playable by me. Just is not an acceptable product any more in my opinion.
Splitscreen will continue to produce the product they are presently and will acquire a bunch of noobs that have no idea how much fun this game used to be, and they will find it a cool game to play. It is a shame that they will never enjoy the fun, the intensitiy, or the player interaction we have all had the pleasure of enjoying. As for all my friends, enemies, and other associates . . . Tis been my pleasure getting to know you, and I wish you good fortune in the future.
To my friends at Splitscreen, I also wish you good luck in your future. But, I will never forgive you for the destruction you have done to this game. Do you know why I can pay for games like Star Trek and not ever think twice about the expense? It is because my membership cost a whole $15.00 per month. Did you ever think to lower the membership costs to a level that players found acceptable and leaving the game alone as fun to play, as your marketing method? Of course not. But, doing so was recommended by numerous players. Oops, my bad! I forgot you guys do not listen to your customers . . .
