I was thinking about this for some time new planets but not normal ones these planets would have mantis which only respawn every 5 hours all the mantis would be tougher than usual all cry drops will be better and energy would be good. Anyone would be able to land at any time but the planets are designed for squads really becuase mantis are tough. Also people who are more than 1 system above will not be allowed to land unless they get the appropriate ship it would be a fun free for all challenge and would get all those people to start doing teamwork. All mantis on the planet are mostly densly packed and have a aggro radius of 2x your radars sizes also if your bored it would be fun to bring your clan there to try and kill all the mantis on the planet before they all respawn in 5 hours time.
The clan event
Another idea would be to have a clan event there. Up to four clans can play each clan ethier own a third a quarter or half. The objective would be to kill all the mantis in your clans area the quickest the first clan to kill all mantis in there area get a prize system ship rules (above) still apply. Prizes 1st place from 1k(vega) to 25k(draconis) for clan fund The clan that comes second gets cryonite for there clan fund too but only half (unless in only 2v2)
