New Membership - I am not amused

So we got new membership options, on reviewing them I would have to say that they have not got any better and it now seems that Splitscreen are turning this game into a cash cow.

The basic membership of the old type cost 4,300 euros and give 2x the amount of energy as well as a skin, an auto energy generator, a buddy list increase and a clan member increase.

The basic membership of the new type costs 4,300 and says you will use 50% less energy on items, no increase on buddy list, no increase on clan membership and no skin as these now all cost and no energy generator.

Using 50% less energy is the same as giving you 2x more energy. So infact what ever they want to call it, it is the same membership effect yet they are now giving you less for paying the same.

This sounds very much that we are being ripped off and I already find that costs of your memberships higher than all of the other "FREE" to play games that I have seen and even higher than some not so free to play.

Come on splitscreen do not take this game down the same route as others have done, give your customers a fair deal.

on the other hand, using 50% less means you dont have to refill as much. if you have 4000 e, old member ship made it 8000, gl filling that up. now its still 4000, but you use less, so you dont refill nearly as long.

8000e was not hard to fill up with energy generator and 200+ energy balls.

Yes, but the fact remains that filling up on 4000 energy is now the same as filling up on 8000 energy previously, so you save time instead of spending the same amount of time only to have to fill up less frequently.

It is means for them to make more money, of course, they need money... So, now you have to spend a little bit more to get that buddy list booster if you want it and few people have to spend the money for the clan membership booster.

The elite and enhanced memberships allow you to save 75% and 50% energy consumption respectively and these two memberships have been reduced in price.

They have not been reduced in price, the enhanced membership is now the standard membership and offers less than it did before for the same cost.

i much prefer the new membership comapred to the old because it changes the ration of killing to filling instead of just making the duration of each longer and keeping the ratio the same. |It reduces filling time by 50% and reduces e usage by 50%... doesnt that mean 4x bonus?

to put it as simply as I can um ...no it doesn't make it 4x. With the old membership with the e generator I might have had to fill up once a night if I was doing story missions, maybe more if I was grinding. Getting 8k of e was never a problem and if I was made sure I was at my cap when I logged off I had over my cap when I logged back on.

I play between 4 and 5 hours per day and I had the standard membership which was the same cost as the lowest membership now, and now you only get one of the items you did before.

So how are they nice?

It's one thing you need to buy additionally according to your statement, the buddy list booster, so... Either have less buddies or pay up the dough! I don't see the problem...

I realy like the new memberships, i used to buy E for about 100 euros a month. Now i only needs to use about 30 euros I realy realy hate to sit in a e field all day long.

Im now an Ultimate member for 6 months and i really like it.....i always buyed E because i hated to collect e for hours a week when i can spend the time to grind more cry....

with 1,2 mil e left in my energytank i fly now for a half year with no costs.....

some hate it,some don't....it doesn't matter to me....

I must say that the thought of not spending 40 mins a time 4 or 5 times a week filling up is most inviting and in twenty days I will go to the new membership.

But I must agree with the first comment that this is a money making excercise by the Splitscreen. Once a month I spent my 16500 gold to buy my Elite Membership which gave me top buddy cap, top level for my clan and skin. Now for the same money monthly I get the new membership (afraid I cannot afford the saving options), but I now have to pay extra to hold all my buddies and skin.

But for me the worst of the lot is the need to spend an additional 2000 gold to keep my clan going. This is victimization of all the clan leaders. I hope you at Splitscreen can sleep well as I spend the money to put food on the table for my kids.

The only real good thing is the New Ultimate membership
You don't have to load E, only for Selfressurect, ok cool.

Not that nice that all the addOns are not included anymore..

but the standard or enchanced new membership is NOT worth it's money.. you STILL have to load E & you have NO addOns? For the same price, I say no to that..

I have now Elite Old membership, I have to load 53k E takes about 15mins? never time it lol, I go grind with it, make some cry, I do 1hour with that, Loading again..realy waste of time that loading lol.
So I will be glad with the new Ultimate, but the not 100% save E memberships are crap sorry

the ultimate memberships are great and they are great value for money. I used to spend 100 euros a months on buying e now its only 20 euros. Splitscreen took all the extra bits out the memberships so people could pick and mix what boosters they would like. The new memberships are great and defo a step in the right direction but i do miss my skin glow my ship looks rubbish now, splitscreen please bring back the skin glows with membership

i have not has 1 of the new memberships yet and i donnt think i am goin to get 1
maybe if u would of put the price down on them to like 0.8 gold off the firsts new memberships 1.2k off the nd 1 and 3k off the best 1 months 1

so what would that be reply to this when u did the maths

TwistedMetal these memberships are great you say and then you say you want something from the old membership, remember these new memberships have been dropped in price for your benefit, and you can pick and choose which add-ons you want.

You can buy the additional skins at an additional cost remember.
