more player acount safety features against hackers

Its anoying to those ppl who have there acounts hacked, even thought i have not experiened this, but the GMs r not doing a thing about this issue and since the ppl who have hacked into ppls acounts r unknown for now, I was thinking of more safety to ppls acounts and give gold to those who have been hacked into as compansation. But back to my idea, I was thinking of security questions, atleast 5, like Mothers Madan Name or ur Pets Name etc. Anyone else agree?

Pilots accounts get hacked for numerous reasons with #1 being (I hate to say this) STUPIDITY. If you want to give your account information to someone you dont know (other than in-game), That is STUPIDITY. 95% of Pilot Account Hacks are done that way & you are saying they need to be compensated? I dont think so.

As for the GMs not doing anything about it, Here you really hit a Nerve with Me. What you dont know goes a very long way. What you do know is you see nothing happening so assume we are looking the other way. I am not nor will not divulge details other than I personally have been Investigating this issue for some time now unbeknownst to you or the other pilots that have not been hacked.

If any Pilot other than those I have already spoke with, feel their Pilot Accounts have been hacked, Please PM Me thru the Forum or send an E-Mail to support@pirategalaxy.com.

Do Not post in the Forum anything about your account being hacked. See a GM or do as instructed above.

It is very improbable that your account was actually hacker by a hacker. To hack a login system takes an extraordinary amount of effort and expertise.

Think of this.... why would they hack your account?
Is it special enough to spend all that time doing a brute force password hack?
They can't sell it for money or anything.
If they really wanted to hack an account, wouldn't it be more rewarding to hack an Admin account like mine??

There is a chance you have a trojan keylogger created to farm PG details from a fake cheat program but most likely you are given your login details to a someone ingame or a family member who has taken a dislike to you. Adding a layer of security question will not help since you most likely would have given them the answer to that too.
