The Pirate Galaxy Leagues PvP Tournament 2011
“1 v 1 PvP Battle”
The PvP Tournament is a 1 v 1 PvP based, bracket style competition. The tournament follows a similar mechanism to the current Football World Championships.
The number of battles will be dictated by the number of Pilots that register for the tournament. Each group will consist of two (2) Pilots where they will engage each other in combat once, resulting in the winning pilot progressing to the next level. The following stages will progress in the usual bracket competition form.
The Pirate Galaxy Mizar PvP League
All Pilots participating in the PvP League must only use the Ships and Technologies that is available to the Mizar System. Once a Pilot has been registered, they cannot be changed or replaced.
The prize for the winning Pilot is a special edition version of the top damage dealer ship from the Mizar System
Winning Pilot: MST-FF1 Fusion Storm SE (Special Edition) + Elite Firepower Booster (7 Day) + Cryonite Protection (3 Hour)
1st Runner Up Pilot:
Ultimate Energy Charge + Enhanced Firepower Booster (7 Day) + Cryonite Protection (3 Hour)
2nd Runner Up Pilot:
Elite Energy Charge + Standard Firepower Booster (7 Day) + Cryonite Protection (3 Hour)
Tournament Rules:
Every Pilot must register on the forums in the follow format:
• All participating Pilots must be in Colossus (Vega3) orbit at least ten (15) minutes before each battle. Each Pilot must fly down to the surface only when instructed even if the Pilot is not ready. Pilots arriving late will be excluded from the battle. If a Pilot decide to forfeit the battle or if a Pilot fails to attend, the Pilot is disqualified.
• Each battle will last for a maximum of thirty minutes with three lives given to each player.
• All unregistered players who fly down to the surface will be kicked from the server effective immediately upon detection by the LGM who is controlling the Battle. Repeated landing Offenses will result in a 4 Hour Jail Term
• Any player that uses exceedingly foul, rude or sexually explicit language during battle can have their Pilot disqualified, with the offending player subject to server rules and possible banning from entering further tournaments.
• The tournament will be held on 17 July 2011 on Colossus (Vega3) @1900 Hrs BST +1 (1300 Hrs EST). All results will be published in the forums on or by the following Monday.
• If a Pilot requires altering their battle time, it must be reported 3 days prior to the event.
A LGM or SGM will always be present on the Battle Planet or in orbit as the Battle Judge
