sorry but I don't agree with you.
For sol you're almost right, but the tank pod the storm
For draconis, based on my own pvp experience ( 3/4 of my game time xD), you can't make a "rank" for ship, the schock is great, but had hard time against engineer (especially constructor), the storm pod the engineer and the sniper, the sniper is good against tanks and meta X , tanks and meta X against storm; and a good engineer player can beat a tank (even the dominator) and a shock.

yeah, tank did come 2nd last, cus if u thermo a tank and use aim and rocket, it ain't got a big chance to win

yes sure sniper is good at pvp, but at draconis that the sniper will win with a storm is 50%, and tank i think 20% chance, it's also about how good the player is.

sadly i have to agree, the pvp cycle has been broken in Sol and will never be recovered.

the problem is that the Tank gains additional super armor as it is 5 ranks above the tech. This never happend before in any systems, vega, antares, gemini, mizar, sol(45).
The storm is just not strong enough to fight against the massive armor, but a sniper is,
The sniper can evade the high damage done by the aggrobomb and his sniper blaster and OS just hit trough the aim scrambler.
But still I have had many fights where the tank lost from a storm.

But you really shouldn't take the parsecs into the discussion as they are just too epic and easily beat every ship in draconis just of it's 20% more armor. A shock wins always from an engineer, however, this was soo funny. In sol I had my shock, not full rare against a full rare engineer. I nearly got podded each time, but it didn't happen because the engineer has no firepower, it took me forever to kill that thing, and it only took me 30sec-1m to kill a storm.

I will try to make a table based on your experiance:
Ship - Good At - Bad At
Storm - Sniper, Engineer - Shock & Defender? (& Tank?)
Tank - Shock (&Storm) - Sniper
Shock - Storm, Sniper - Tank
Engineer - - Storm
Sniper - Tank, Defender - Shock, Storm
Defender - Storm - Sniper

have you ever fight a real engi' fighter?? on draconis the constructor can pod a shock due to the impressive resistance of his protector and the recovering time of it. don't know for Terrorisor vs Constructor never try ^^

yeah, I know, but still it's unfair to count the constructor, I know for a fact that a meta engineer easilly looses from the shock, just because it has no health.

i miss the old time when the new vega system was the last system (developed) ^^

all, i can say, the new vega system was the best update ever,

now we have an bad repair droid that repairs to slow, but keeps on for ever even if you are already fully repaired, i rather hve that it takes a shorter time, is stronger and reloads faster.

lol, as i said storm gives out huge dame in time thermo+aim pc+rocket+blaster
the rocket can still take very much hp cus of it's aim pc...

pbhuh aim does not run out xD it takes about 2 min or something. that's more then u need to pod a player

only bad point about sniper is armor, i felt embarresd that a sol engineer could keep me alive...

sniper (as all ships) is good for a particular purpose. it sucks soloing hive cause of low armor yes, but put 2 snipers and a tank u have good combination for clearing mantis. now, you cant have all ships in the game to be good for everything (grinding, doing SMs, pvp...). there is no "jack of all trades" (dunno about defender since i dont have one). i'd direct most complaints about lack of shock/engis in draconis. snipers are common sight so many people (me as well) find it's firepower good for hunting bps and since i dont have membership i work with boki who has dominator to do SMs on hive.
