mantis gotten stronger after last update

Hi!

im wondering why the mantis has gotten more armor and firepower in the last update.
there is no use buying firepower relay anymore since you need to have 2 pilots shooting mantis in sirius. you could do these solo with firepower relay before patch.

ive done som sm on hive and the same thing there, mantis way harder to kill.

one thing is for sure, this makes it really hard for the new players that SS keep telling its for. " to keep par with handling those new players." it does not help and the old players does not like it. need to think of how to keep the old players ingame.

could some one please tell me the reason for this?

I think Moon signors got more armor, i used to be able to solo the first ones with my Mars tech, but not anymore.

I dont think that they got stronger at all, I think that we got weaker. If you go to www.prelude.myzen.co.uk/PG you will see that all ships reduced armor, for example for Dominator that was 19200 now its 11540, all ships reduced in armor, probably they reduced Mantis too, but in that process they maybe reduced more from us than from them.

that might be true. im thinking of getting me a dominator, but not sure how well it preforms after the ninja patch. any one got a dominator fully loaded and a r85?

Yes some mobs has gotten either weaker or stronger might it be less armor/firepower, or items. I believe still it's not a huge increase/ decrease. But with the new changes for a maybe new system + the new PG version, which I've seen in a gameplay action from SSS youtube channel, I'd say it'll be good. PG changes, life changes, changes might be for the better or worse, but we do not know tell we have seen it and experienced it.

I wish new system ships to be with at least three weapons and armor bigger than dominator with 4th armor, so dominator with new system armor can be little more stronger. Only that way game will make sense.

Its expectable for splitscreen to make a stupid update. My myst dies so much faster now its a shame. I cant even solo the boss repos from the mission now.

I noticed about 2 months ago that my drac tank was not being healed all the way anymore. Same with my sol stun. I put in a couple tickets with no solution for 2 months then a gm and myself tested the drac tank and the dominator. We tested it out with the rare, top blue, ancient, rapid, and the strong rep droid. Same result. Barely heals half way. I was told that it is because it was being adjusted due to having the meth armor it is to strong, that is was like in vega when you add an extra armor from higher system it wont heal our ship all the way. I used my tank for more than a year with that armor and my top blue rep droid worked fine. What icant understand is why the ancient STRONG rep wont heal it but barely half way. And why change it now? The only defense the tank has is being weakened, therefore removing its value.

well. it seems they`ve made new adjustments again, loonger cooldown on loong repair. see pepole with that one suddently needs to ab away much more in the recent days lol.

I was kind of wondering why I took so much damage today, I have had tanks as a main ship the whole time I played this game and elite a dominator and I know what it can take and what it cannot as well as what I can do with it and seems not much lately. Let me put something into perspective..Dominator at 675,400 cryo along with another 2 million for armor and not including bps(@500K or alittle less for all kenyte and 1 ancient tech) @3.2mil for complete elite! And it seems my hps are not what they should be but that's ok..give me the cry back for what hps you took off ship and/or what you made the mantis stronger..OR i'll settle for a 5th armor which I'll be willing to pay 1 mil cryo so Tau Ceti can be at least tolerable. Honestly as it is now other than Sirius and the members of the clan I am in, if it wasn't for helping them get to Sirius I would quit this game as fast as I quit the last and that took me leaving clan I was in and all of a log out and gone.

I got r85 domi and see a lot of ancients podding before I do even gave up getting an ancient ship cause the dominators may not have allot after blaster and aggro bomb but it is definitely a survivor...but as far as Tac Ceti is concerned if it doesn't get an upgrade like putting it back to where it was or more armor NO SHIP is good for this system
