Well this may have been said in a way but no its not the Java update because I updated my Java 30+ minutes after the Askone server started acting up in hopes that it would fix the problem I used the repair.exe that didn't help so I assumed it was a server problem.

I came here to see if it was just me but as I can see it's not which is a relief to know it's not just my hunk-a-junk computer acting up again lol.

Anyways yes restoring Askone would work but as you said it may be only a temporary fix. I would like to point out my client has been crashing allot since the last update and I wonder if that may be the cause of this new problem now?

The GM's was broadcasting on Solaria that Europe was having internet issues and they was fixing it but that has been several hours ago.

Not sure if anyone else has thought of this but perhaps it's being hacked. Something similar to this happened to a game a was playing like 4+ years ago the server was down for 3 days and they finally discovered it was bing hacked and that the hacker was modifying stuff in his account. I don't know but it's a thought.

Also has anyone else noticed that the chose server window doesn't close all the way when you chose the askone server? It disappears but if you move the cursor around where it was you'll see the cursor light up with the blue outline and if you click wile it's lit up the chose server window appears for a split second.

Yea, I have noticed that and also if you click the bottom right corner where the cursor lights up, it will show you the box again but clicking a new server and connect does nothing.

Yes I have tried that as well and you're right it does nothing. However for me if I click the askone sever wile it's like that then click the connect button 3 times it almost gets into the game but freezes just as the announcements window starts to show.

there is a good chance that someone just entered a date of termination in one of the files and they have to find and recreate that file. this could take a few months.

infact... i can think of hundrids of different posible causes. some can be quicl;y ruled out and many have the samr or idenrical solutions.


all i really care about as far as this is concerned is that we get the cry back up and that we atlest don't loose anything from all this (booster wise)

If they aren't in the server building, then it is housed by some large cooperation like IBM who would try to fix any problems they are encountering asap so they don't loose millions due to loss of customers.

This was meant to be an offical post regaeding information for the server downage.
