Is there a way to play Pirate Galaxy on Linux?

The game needs DirectX to play.

We once had a report (quite old) of someone that managed to got it to work with WINE (windows emulator).

We do not support any system that is not using DirectX. (in short we only support Windows)

i had a apple laptop and pirate galaxy worked but don't ask how it was abit a mess to get it working

Linux does not support DirectX. The only Apple Macintoshs that will play PG thru the browser must have an Intel Processor & be able to run Windows Based Programs. With the Intel Processor you can actually load DirectX as well as other programs. Most Mac's however have a Motorola Processor & therefore need a Windows Emulator (Wine) program

So tell me, what crazy reasoun was to use java, if you addcted this game leater from DirectX ?? pure windows plattform ??
Why not to use native procesor languager to gain lots of speed ?
