Can Splitscreen already give a statement about the remaining 3 planets as to what will happen with them - going to be CQ or mission planet?

I assume them planets will come with a future patch, in case they are meant to be of any use. But that is exactly what we don't know as yet.

i heard something about a CQ planet for lvl 45 ships

S

sir-vivol

massive cq planets where every clan gets own base incl rocket turrets that only can be taken out by first stunning them and then thermoblast/aggrobomb.
that will give a gap for 2 min before turrets respawn.
every base has 4 zones for the clan to defend.
hold an enemy zone for 1:30 and ur clan gets a point.
hold all 4 zones for 5 min, other clan looses due "total domination".
these zones hold turret on 2 sides of the zone and spawn after 2 min too.

radar doesn show enemy unless enemy is engaged by clan/squad members within radar's scan reach.
bases are hughes with a lot ambush spots n shortcuts.

happy hunting!!

Just add some mantis there no stories, no whites just mantis for exp. Also make one of them like v3 for events (sometimes its very boring going from sol to v3) and let it opened all day.

I wouldn't mind another SM planet. They could work something in along the lines of 2001 A Space Odessey and introduce a whole new race into the game besides the mantis. Then the story lines for other systems like Draconis could be much more interesting with better plots and twists. That is not to say that the current storyline is not good. Think along the lines of like Starcraft, if anyone here has ever played that game. We already have the Terran (human pilots), the Zerg (mantis), we just need the new Protoss (new alien race with supertech). :D

Oh, wait ..... They deleted Pluto ... Too bad! Now there's NO chance of a third bunch of nasty chaps!!

what i would like to see is a duel planet
only 2 people allowed on surface at any time in pm hunting for each other on a large map wit similar mechanics to v3 as in you can fight clan and buddys on it
with rewards for podding the other person

Or maybe a new instance when there is more than 2 people on surface.

Please don't talk about Pluto, It's even not a planet or dwarf planet ad all,

It's a moon-system, Charon And Pluto are two moons circulating eachother.

Sayaron isn't a planet. Not Terasa, not The moon, not lyris. Still, they're in the game.

that's the problem, it's not fair against other dwarf-planets.

Just to set the record straight, Pluto, along with several other bodies from the asteroid belt and Kuiper belt (KBOs - Kuiper Belt Objects) are dwarf planets. The IAU, International Astronomical Union, currently has 5 such bodies that fall into the classification of dwarf planet. They are Pluto (KBO), Ceres (in asteroid belt), Eris (KBO), Makemake (KBO), and Haumea (KBO). There are roughly a trillion comet-like objects in the Kuiper belt and beyond in the Oort cloud that are composed mainly of various ices (water, ethane, methane, etc.), like Pluto. The qualifications to be a dwarf planet are 1) massive enough to be shperically shaped due to its own gravity - i.e. in hydrostatic equilibrium yet not possess enough gravity to clear its own orbit of other orbital debris (otherwise it would be a standard planet), and 2) must not be a satellite of any other object other than a star. Charon, Nix, and Hydra are in fact moons of the dwarf planet Pluto, as they orbit Pluto in the same manner as our own Moon orbits Earth.
Something else to keep in mind, on another technical note, is the fact that the four Jovian planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) have no "surface" to land on. They are very roughly composed of a relatively thin layer of various gases, then a liquid hydrogen region, then a metallic hydrogen region, with a very small (roughly the size of Earth) rocky core. To land on this core in Jupiter, for example, would require your ship to withstand roughly 36,000 Kelvin (35726.85 Celcius, 64340 Fahrenheit) and about 4500 billion Pascals of pressure. This pressure is about 44.4 million times the atmospheric pressure of Earth. If one wants to be supertechnical, Jupiter is classified as a brown dwarf star in that it does not possess enough gravity to reach the required core temperature for thermonuclear fusion, yet it does have enough gravity such that it radiates more electromagnetic energy (mostly in infrared) than it absorbs from the sun. Personally, to keep the game roughly realistic in this aspect, I would like to see some way to have space battles in orbit of these four Jovian planets rather than land on them. The missions would have to focus on fighting mantis squadrons (perhaps staging for assaults on the inner planets?) rather than collection/escort/delivery type missions. I have always hoped that PG would evolve into having space battles of some sort.

I also agree with Delloda in that Pluto will always be planet #9 for me no matter what the IAU says! :D

You stumbled into a "lets set the record straight" session so that certain ppl will not be hatin' on Pluto!

They must make 1 (or all) CQ planets on wich the owners can hold tournements itself

example: Your clan rules a planet and you can organise a "inclan" race on the planet.
