Your community didn't like the new content nerfs, we are assured things will be "fixed" but every hotfix has made this content more unfun.

How are we expected to farm each individual blueprint on bosses that barely take damage because of this new durability thing, no one wants to spend ages killing a boss that drops next to no cryo/blueprints anymore compared to the "difficulty"(just a massive health bar).

With each "Fix" it feels less and less worth to play this new content, do you want your players to enjoy your game or not?

Hi @turenaxe,

Durability has not been changed for reasonably sized squads, this does only trigger when a big group is attacking a single unit. However, there are now multiple carriers available at the same time, so players are expected to split into smaller groups to farm more efficiently.

Running the new content with groups of 15+ players was making it completely trivial and removing most of the intended PvE challenge.

We are still adjusting things based on feedback and working to get the balance into the right place, so constructive feedback is always welcome.

That said, please keep in mind that the intention was never for the entire server to group up and fight those units together.

Oh, I get it. You expect us to spend over an hour killing a single unit just to get 6 blueprints, which then have to be shared with the entire squad to decrypt a one-time-use technology. Yeah, players with 10+ TC ships are definitely going to waste their time doing that.

In the game Final Fantasy XIV this content is called hunts, and players tend to act exactly like what isn't intended, that game has chat groups called linkshells where people share information when finding a hunt mob.

The people who are interested in these hunts work together finding and killing these units, it's human nature.

Based on difficulty of these hunts you need more players for better rewards, S ranks in that game are an example of that, these could be compared to the Purple/Pink units you guys have set upon us, Naturally, a lot of players are looking out for those, over the yellow units because it's more rewarding.

We have tried splitting up and people got upset because of FOMO, everyone just wants stable progression.

i think i too dont consider it worth doing this content long-term, i just want to get my favourite ship maxed before i call it a day with this, it just takes too much of my time and is just unsustainable. playing this casually, like just joining raids from outside sq whenever u feel like it, is pretty much pointless since the nerfs to solo drops make it such that solo players dont get much and if u are red, they might kill u if u are alone because that would make the boss hp go down due to player count as well as to stop u from getting drops, so unless u are active often with a good amount of people you arent likely to make progress...
As for the point about splitting up, its like cloud said alr its FOMO, and if 1 clan/alliance feels like they dont like another clan/alliance because they shot units that they wanted because it drops S blaster or something, it is very likely that they may choose to hunt players instead of the remnants which is leading to slower progress for basically everyone
At least on my server, the consensus has been that the reward to effort ratio is just not worth the time to be doing this long-term, i am not sure if people will continue to hunt them long-term once the update has had time to settle in, though i can appreciate that we got more things to do after beating the game and defeating the queen, it just doesnt feel good to do to us
but its Ok i guess this is just the extra content u unlock once u finish the main campaign.....

im not intending to be critical since i understand u guys are changing things so ill just wait for now, just trying to explain peoples opinions at least on my server, u will certainly never find ME starting one of these posts because i am still holding out hope for the new content especially after some of the goodwill shown by this team (rebalancing items and buffing sirius progression in terms of bp acquisition speed) but its not all sunshine and rainbows either

"durability has not been changed reasonably sized squads" then tell us why Solarias group of 7 ppl is experiencing this durability change? 7 ppl was barely enough to do the purples as they were and now the health has about doubled. Solaria just cant get a freaking break

What's the point of designing content around a single 5-player squad fighting bosses on their own?
These bosses have infinite stuns, constantly spawn units that deal massive damage and provide healing support. Even if you kill two of them, three more respawn almost immediately.
This is also the most p2w system in the game, where everyone, especially the squad leader, is expected to have every Ultimate Amplifier.
So is the content also designed around forcing us to compete in PvP over bosses that can't realistically be killed without help?
At the very least, consider removing the new abilities they gained when only a single squad is fighting the boss. Also, the new durability scaling shouldn't start just because there are 6, 7, or 8 players attacking. It should only apply when there are at least 5 players more than the intended 5-player squad.

And just to be clear, all of my feedback is about the XC units.

Please show a video killing a pink (XC) unit with a "reasonably sized squad" (what counts as a reasonable sized squad?) that doesn't take you 1 hour

Couldn't say it better my self, I want to get 2 of my ships with some decent tech and im never going to touch remnants again unless changed/9th item

Some of the best pilots on Askone are struggling to kill a PVE unit to the point where we have all mutually agreed to not shoot Pink (XC/Boss) units and instead shoot them to despawn so we can shoot yellows. Good luck to casual players looooool

Also nice boss mechanics guys, 0 pattern, oooh 10 people got stunned for 15 seconds with the sirius ancient hulk stun charge? oh instant orbital strikes that go off within 0.1 seconds (0 counter play) oooh theres 1000 sticky bombs/mines that I cant see because theres also 1000 beacons and 1000 turrets on the screen ooooh crazy update! OOOH they made it harder now ?? it scales??? surely theres more counterplay now or some skill we can use from playing so much!!!! Lets recap... Insta kill abilities with 0 counter play, can't actually see half of the abilities because theres 0 clarity in this game, unkillable bosses (unless u want to shoot for 30-40 mins for a rapid sticky bomb, or a long after burner or someother complete garbage BP that it doesnt tell you)... Why cant you make more interesting mechanics, for example the circle of orbitals where u have to positino in the middle - thats actually interesting. Do you know what isnt interesting? the circle of OS' the second the boss RANDOMLY stuns 50 people with a langrange strong mega stun charge with 0 counter play... jesus christ, stop making ur content "HARDER" I would say another word, but it's not allowed here - It starts with BULL. I regret spending TEN GREAT BRITISH POUNDS to play ur crap. The fact that u have this fission guy defending this complete garbage just shows.


Add more counterplay, unique boss mechanics like the cirlce or orbitals (I love how the first somewhat interesting thing is a circle of OS' LOOOOL that's how bad the game is) don't make it feel like a JOB irl to get 1 remnant bp for 1 ship LOOOOOL... yeaah

Let's rename this update from "End game" to "End of Game"

Seriously, I feel like theres 0 effort to actually implement things that people have actually asked for or wanted - Where is my PvP planet, where is my second TC/Oort Conquest planet, where is a new PvP mechanic. What am I grinding these remnants for give me a reason xD

and I will add one more thing, I was genuinely excited to see remnants, the first meaningful content we have had in a while. But I CANNOT express my outrage (GRRR!!!) than above.

I cannot believe theres a world that SOMEHOW, You guys, assuming fission is speaking on ur behalf look at 10-15 pilots shooting a unit that drops a random BP from that you need 6 parts of for one of your ships and go "Wow, that's too easy it's only going to take them 5 days of constant playing to get this 1 blue print for one ship" (and if u dont play your going to miss that blueprint - It's basically sirius 2.0) and actually code in a new mechanic to make the bosses more time consuming because again it's not annoying/time consuming enough?. The pinks are unkillable god damn it, we shot with 3, 5, 8, 10, 15 it's the SAME. You guys seemed to have listened to meaningful feedback, but man theres just no way u think 6 parts of a random blueprint that could take u 5 days to get for one ship is not hard enough?... Please I have been playing 10 hours a day for 4-5 days and I have like 7 blueprints completed xD maybe im not dedicated enough

Could some one smarter than me, do the maths on how long it takes on average to get 6/6 blueprints, assuming your sharing them with your squad equally. So, You shoot one unit, that drops a random blueprint from however many there is, that only drops from 1 unit that rotates so on average u see that blueprint like what once every 3 days ish? and then consider unlucky drop, how long it takes to kill the boss, travel to find the boss and then to get 1 blueprint complete. Then we can times that by however many ships someone has, lets say on average people would want to get full remnant blueprints for 3-7 ships?. Would be really interesting to see. Thx

@Jaax can you please rewrite the above in English, it's hard to understand what you're trying to say or argue about. May I also recommend replacing the 10 hours of PG grinding with 10 hours of ESL classes for the sake of the rest of the community?
