Improvement in thinking

The latest post of sayyadin shows how SS has changed the way of thinking, they warn us about a new update that it can be very bad, but they try their best.

In the new bp system they only were very positive, and we saw the effect of that. No one likes it, except me... ^^ (not true, but it is still questionable.)

I think this should be said more often so that SS also will post more of these kinds of warnings.

you did support the new loot system pbhuh, I was the 1st to say it is bad even before it would come out, I knew ppl would start complaining about bad drop rate...

you did support the new loot system pbhuh, I was the 1st to say it is bad even before it would come out, I knew ppl would start complaining about bad drop rate...

and still it has something good in it, but needs some nerfing.

i have to admit, the old loot system WAS a pain in the backside sometimes. towards the end though, they could have just modified the cry drop percentage. that mess-up with delloda last year proved you can do this with the amount you get per drop, so why not have just modified the drop percentage so that the things drop more, instead of spending all that time and resources building a new system from scratch, and not a very good one at that.

though on the other hand, this new system is a pain in the backside constantly, as opposed to the old one only being a pain like 10% of the time (and yes i mean rares)...lol

I remember the old system just costed me less then 20 min to get bps lower then draconis...

I thought that it would be a component based system, with each weapon requiring a certain set of components that would be interchangeable (things like plasma coils, Cooling aggregates and so on, that would be required on different weapons). Also, you would also have the possibility ot implement trading into this. (i got far too many Cooling Aggregates, i'll give you 4 so that you can finish your AM Blaster if you give me 800 cry)

It takes loads more time to get a rare bp complete. It is even harder to get ur ship complete now.

What does SS want with this. The game, or what it has become is only for a small group off people that spend endless time on it.

Well sorry, i don;t have enough time to spend on your grinding carroussel. I did spend enough money on your gold. But i feel with this stupid looth system they consider players like me not needed.

The boosters?? Well be free to try them, they will give u gold bp's etc etc. But not the ones ur lookin for. Its a RIP OFF.

I said it before, instead of making me spend endless hours to get stuff together, just let me buy the bloody gold bp's.

I just don;t have the time to keep tryin to get stuuf complete or waste time on Drac Missions that are impossible to do alone.

This new loot system is a bad idea a lot of players like my self use to go around the planets killing certain mantis to get a gold bp or a normal bp and not have to worry about finding parts it seems everybody either hates or just dose not like this new loot system i use to like spending time 2 find the gold bps knowing it was the only one i would ever have to bother with but now i cannot even find a normal sol blaster with out getting podded 24/7 sorry but this new loot system is not going down well

they want to force people to buy boosters, that's the only reason i can think of why they would even try something like this.

I have membership and i buy boosters constantly.

I have no problem with that. My problem is that the boosters don't deliver. Especially the BP booster.
At least not the 3 hour ones. They are to expensive.

If any, get the monthly boosters.

Bioggest drag is that we need so many of the rares to complete it. You can spend shiploads of boosters on trying to get those together.

Its the looth system that is bad.

I like the new loot system (not so "new" after 8 months though)

It makes me feel more lucky. Anyway, the drop rate needs some tune. Some are very difficult to get (from custodian commanders, v.g.) and others very easy (as some interceptors). SS should consider the drop rate by mantis class AND spawn rate.

You are spot on m8. I figured out the same thing. You have not been in Sol and Draconis. Those are the systems where it all gets out off balance.

Trying to get a rare droid from about 12 repair-nodes spread out over the moon or earth. They are to far apart. They take to long to respawn.
You have to wait too long to shoot them at a fair rate. So the rare droprate should be reconsidered. Other mantis is like 5 or sometimes even more in a close range that you can shoot. You are able to shoot more in a shorter period of time.

Again it is time that is the real currency in this gam. Niot cryonite.
Gold can only help u save some time.

The loot system that makes u have to shoot more and more because the bp's are in more and more bits is horrible in my opinion.

And i never heard anyone say, oh great the bp is in 14 bits, thge RARE is in even 16 bits and harder to find.
Well go in weakley armoured ship on Draconis hyve.... Where u have to hit the average mantis about 5 or 6 times with the best guns. You gonna not like this m8, i am sure.

Without membership and cry protect. It's next to impossible to play this game. Well fair enough, you gotta make money, but even with the boosters and membership. It isn't fun, i can assure you.

the drop rate could be 3.1 times higher then the old 1, come on u need 19 parts at sirius, and 21 for rare ship there, would u try get any rares? or just quit game and play something else.

Defcon and Ridoi are right on the money. Multiple bp's plus lack of npc's eqauls waste of time and money.

Getting rares on Hive in a normal ship? Then thinking about even MORE parts in a next system. And even weaker ship for even more cryonite that is even harder to get. LOL Whahaha get real.
Not in a million years. On hive, i am not even tryin to get rares, i am only barely surviving there. Withou cru protect? You cannot even go there without loosing loads of cryonite.

I know the whole MMOG stuff is based on a 'skinner-box' principle and that i am fooled into doing a stupid thing a thousand times (grinding) because i get the 'reward' of cryonite and a rare bleuprint. And some chemical in my brain makes me feel happy about that.

But, they are overdoing it. I know i am the rat in de box pushing the little lever becuase of the chance on cry or bp or even rare. But doin it on hive is punishement. It's getting annoying. So Developers are not getting me in the 'happy - repeat-shoot' mode they want me in, they are annoying me. So > no more money.

I am probably not the player they want. They want real guys with that enourmous amount of time to fill in. Time to spend on vast stretches of endless shooting. And still pay MONEY. haha.

In short, this game is demanding too much of my time and starts to annoy me in the time i am playing it. Well done Devs.

Go on try me with a new system, make me go again for 10 levels in a kartboard ship. Let me shoot a mantis 50 times before it diess and drops a puny amount of cryonite. (not even half the time). Make the ships what again twice as expensive. So for guys withouyt mebership that will be it. Oh and make the rares in even more bits off course.
