hello, my name is Christian Crespo, but those who play on Askone know me ans the somewhat infamous ichor. with me using my formal name, i hope it sends a sign to those who are not thinking of taking this seriously, because it is very serious.

i know im not the most popular amongst you all but i think we can all come into agreement with what im about to ask, no beg the developers to do. yes developers, im talking about how you mutilated our repair droid, and in return successfully made draconis a living hell for players like me. when i say players like me, i mean players who cannot even afford Xbox live (20 dollars US for 3 months) let alone afford to buy ANY amount of gold for this game(ie cry protection, membership). so, lets get down to it, shall we?

The Repair Droid:

First off, draconis is NOT the mantis home system,it is the methanoid home system, and like all other systems was invaded by the mantis. just because the mantis hive is in orbit around a planet does not give the devs the excuse of "its the mantis home world, do you want it to be easy?"
no it should not be easy, it should be challenging, not incredibly difficult.

The mighty Repair droid, known for quickly returning the health to any ship who might be close to death. for many smooth running months our second friend has watched over us, there when we needed it (or when it cooled down). but now, our hard earned armor has been reduced to hitpoints, and our repair droids forced to repair these cursed things.

what was once a quick drive up the earth hill, is now a harrowing journey, filled with repairing left and right,wasting our tanks of e, no thanks to mantis super aggression.

storms, the games warriors in bright shining armor, the storms have shared a comfortable position in the top of the pvp food chain, snug next to shocks, followed by tanks, and trailing the poor little engi. now with our rep droids gone, the storms have gone rampant, simply by pressing 8, they completely disable the effects of any repair droid, making the storm pilots in a position for potential bullying.

story missions on Gazica, are un-doable, even in a full squad, and the fact that you have made engineers almost completely useless (self mats, rep options dont even matter anymore, protectors are better off used on the engineer) and with us podding left and right because of a fight with a level 66 mantis signor is lost because my repair droid kept on getting cut down, is just making this game not fun to play.

you gave us 20% more rep action, but to no avail. why? i can answer that, people are still podding even with there repair droids goin off.

delloda said he would talk to the devs on monday about this, and tommorrow is judgment day, my argument, although a haslty put together one is here, anyone else wanna add anything, feel free to comment.

please devs, i already quit one MMO because of the developers inability to connect with its community and siphon money out of every player *cough cough BIGPOINT WITH DO and in teh long run ruin its well earned reputation as a community friendly game developer.

heed my warning devs and heed it well, you will loose players, and therefore loose customers if you dont give us our repair droid back. the choice is yours...

you got to love the FM's on here, ignore the fact that someone says the game is going to the dogs and people are now resorting to doing something else and it will leave SS with very very few players.

PS. In spite of what Stile said, Adrana is just doing her job - she takes no prisoners.

I am not in any way shape or form trying to tell her how to do her job as I am sure SS are more than happy with her way of handling things.

Her job might be to keep the smooth running of the Forum, you might also find that part of her job is to help and smooth out some of the difficulties that people are having in the game.

A problem has clearly been defined and rather than put an answer that would help, encourage and tell the person that they were wanted in the game, they have instead placed a reply that is an official warning, further telling the person that the opinion they have is not worth responding to.

They are not considering us funnygirl( part of your name, dont know how to call you). We have been ranting for over 1 week and what happened? things got worse. I have proves of that ss doesnt listen to players. Today i watched the "Who is online" section to see what delloda was doing. He has read all the new topics in General Discussion, then he changed to Bugs and suggestions, then to fan section. He just didnt even open the Praise rage and rants forum, because what we think or say isnt important. I think we should all organize a strike. This is what we can do. No one will play for 1, 2 weeks and either paying. Maybe this way they will read the player rants.

And ive also noticed that they never reply to the rants in any way. Only time someone from ss has replied in rants forum was in the razzorkill post( What a coincidence, he spends loads of money in this game) to say something will be done with the mission nr20. What about the Alien race????? NO ANSWER! nothing will be done!!

... which was to encourage Ichor to keep writing and expressing his point of view in spite of the reply he received from the LFM.

HyDroxYl, I'm as upset as the next person - as you can see by my other posts. However, it has been my experience that our rants ARE read. I have even received private messages in response. ** see more below.

And Stile, You do have a point about how the response could have been worded a bit more gently. I get how much of a disappointment it was to greatly want an immediate solution to the problem - only to receive the response as it was presented.

I'm certain the intent was not to imply someone's point of view was not worth responding to.

However, with the amount of activity on the boards increased tremendously and as an unpaid volunteer working for the love of the game, I suspect our goddess has a lot on her plate right now and is doing the very best she can. Everyone is stressed and frustrated - ESPECIALLY the folks that are taking flack for something that is totally out of their control and not their doing.

** I DO see that some changes are taking place... excruciatingly slow and that's frustrating...
And also we are not seeing all the changes we would like to see - and that is also extreemly frustrating...
But if Split Screen was not responding to rants - we wouldn't see any changes at all.

I'd like to say.. Hang in there guys, but I don't know if I, myself, will continue to do so.

Beyond all this... Hey ICHOR! KEEP WRITING!

As a developer myself I know that things take time and they cannot change everything as easy as some think an acknowledgement rather than a drip feed of information would be better than what is happening at the moment.

They can easily put up a list of what is going to be changed and we have heard your comments and we are looking at changing them, we want to keep the new system up as well so we cannot roll back that easy. Anything is better than the nothing and being fobbed off.

I have also been a board moderator on other forums and this might be a voluntary assignment but she is not god and needs to realise when the users are stressed and the activity on the board is increased is when it is utmost to ease the calm rather than just switch to moderator mode.

It makes you look incredibly inhumane.

i`m also completely agreeing with ichor, and also what kind of rule is it to forbid mentioning of any other game/company other than pg/ss. I completely hate these changes and i have a feeling of being ignored from the devs about all this, it all looks like they want to destroy this game which i before use to enjoy and have a lot of fun playing. This just shows that SS became greedy (Im restraining myself from using hmmm... vulgarity on forum)

they should have more respect for people or players they not manties that u create and give a soul as u want.
