Hybrids have no Defender Tech

Now i went to hitch hiker's guide and checked the stats for the ships. I noticed they have no defender items and it comes to my intention why?

I think that originally developers made it so that theres 1 ancient ship per system. And as we know, draconis and sirius are only system where defender tech is available. And all techs are divided for all ancient ships pretty well, so theres no room for defender tech...

Funny that now all ancient ships are sirius ships actually...

then why do they only use 2 sniper tech, sniper blaster and orbital strike, weres the attack droid and buff O:

there are 2 extra sirius ships, i think they're rares, not sure, but they might be defender and sniper?

Are you sure that there's 2 extra ships? i never hear about it tho....
if you check in the achievemt list it says 2 sirius ships, well it was like that when sirius came at list, not sure if it's there anymore, i'm gonna check and replay :p

That "2 sirius ships" (Sirius Ship Archiver, 50 pt) achievement is given when you have collected all ancient and all mantis ships dropped from sirius ;)

That "2 sirius ships" (Sirius Ship Archiver, 50 pt) achievement is given when you have collected all ancient and all mantis ships dropped from sirius ;)

There are also a few other items that aren't seen on the hybirds, like the taunt, aggrobeacon, attack droid and attack buff.

Here's two ideas they could use so every item is on at least one hybrid ship.

Ancient Deployer: Aggrobeacon, Attack Droid, Repair Turret and Attack Turret.

Ancient Aggressor: Taunt, Attack Buff, Sticky Bomb and Minelayer.

a ship with 2 towers and a agrobecon and attack droid would be cool
mantis like shootign towers would be nice to have a agrobecon to take them off it^^ and a attack droid is like a little agrobecon itself that shoots back

talented defender pilots are usually able place the att turret to b shot at and the rep turret in a backdrop so to rep the att turret. but all this including any agrobeacon is useless becuse if u shoot at the enemy especially with mines/sticky ur automatically targeted 1st (unless someone else does higher damage)

i'm not sure if you know this, but attack field turret as well as attack charge i.e. buff are not giving any bonus whatsoever to your or your ally, friends, squad members. so that layout would be pointless.

att buff increases the attack rate force, works best for mines and sb though...

yes they make the repair feild turret heal the attack feild turret, but whenever i play it seems they always go straight to the repair turret lol :(

best agrobeacon is the defender itself cause it can shoot back. as for tactics and why ur rep turret gets attacked thts just learning to use them in te right circumstances imo.

if u wanna phantasize bout xtra equipment to make defender more lethal, especially pve drop the att turret and add a protector.lol

when u are attack already and place rep turret first and attack turrets after they shoot attack turret BUT new incoming enemy's are shooing rep turret always... even tho attack turret is closer :(

ridoi I have both ships and i did testing alone and with philipbarbarian. even splitscreen answered my question why this (attack charge and attack field turret) doesnt work - they said they're aware of it but that they're not going to do anything about it any time soon. it was in q&a with splitscreen thread.

i can also confirm theres no real evidence of att turret/charges boosting the damage as described while ive used them.
(some confuse the varying damage range of weapons as being a damage boost.)

I once tested it, with grinding on earth, with out att turret' my mine wasn't able to kill all inter waves from harvester(lvl 58), with tbe buff it was able to, it's how i did notice it... with sb yes the damage goes up and down even with out buff it does almost same damage, but i often get more critical hits...
