Lord Fan Doom is the Big Boss that you will be fighting to finish up Earth.
He is beatable. all bosses are, it's just a question of skill, good ship, weapons, and strong high ranked player. ^^ :mrorange:

Didn't bought not one e to defeat Lord Fan Doom, nor did I refill once cause you cannot leave the battle area while you are fighting it.
Fight occurs in court (castle, middle of ring, top mountain), and if I remember right, you cannot leave the marked area or it will be failed. So whatever you have heard there's no sense, nor does a high rank player need to refill cause the cap is refilled before you go into the battle and you will have still plenty of e left from the battle, well yes this is with Elite membership.

Without membership it might be very possible. ^^ :mrorange:

ridoi, I think a word as "Please" can you help me might do wonders, and do not forget after you are helped a simples "Thank you" will do even more wonders.
I personally do not help anyone just shouting for help in the public chat without being polite,
and if I have helped someone, and they are not even able to say a Thank you afterwards, I will surely never return to help.

Adrana... on the fight with Lord Fam Doom on earth... Mission does not fail when you leave area, but he full heals...

I used all my e cap (6650) and only took out half of his hp... All my hits struck, no misses and mostly crits..

In the end I had a tank help me.. I had to orbit, get them in sq, reland back up to mountain, mission didnt fail throughout the whole thing but took me all in all about 30mins for the mission

(for a while -take your time and rank up and get crystals, (you will need it) -and make shure that you always enter the next system with top tech! -i have just reached gemini on solaria, but still have strong vega and antares ships. -and if you have problems and see me online, feel free to ask for support -when you get to antares you can buy armor upgrades, (thermograde / deluvian) which are allowed in vegamissions, and you can buy an antares ship when you reach rank18. -good luck

we did it with 3 tanks no memberships or bought e.. 1 by 1 one we refilled so there always was 1 shooting him..
when u enter first time u simply kill all mantis first then u go for the boss..
took some time tho..

I will give an advice here

You talk about a commander in DS. DS will only appear at Gemini system. You need to take out the Ressurector first, not the commander, cause the ressurector will ressurect the commander again and again.
So be sure to kill first the ressurector, then the commander, then the others will leave you in peace.
On lower system it doesn't make any difference if you take out commander first, the other mantis will still be around you and attack you. But as at vega eg, if you kill marauders the commander will land to defend it's class mantis. ^^

sorry unless the ds on gemini are all 1 shots that dont work simply because if u shoot the ress first the commander will order <spawn a new 1>..

correct order is:

kill commander <then it gets ressed but is not active.. some sort of rebootingtime lol>
then u kill the ressurector <coz the commander is "rebooting" he wont order/spawn 1 immediatly>
then u killed the ressurected commander n viola ds is inactive.

it helps to shoot ressurector 50-75% and then kill commander so the ressurector wont put a shield when u killed the commander n go for his head.. plus he quicker eliminated so certainly no chance the ressurected commander has done it's reboot before u kill the ressurector.

-no adrana, i was writing about commanders on vega4. (i use to stick to the subject -and it does indeed do a difference to take the commander first. -the other attackers will appear like red triangles on your radar, and they will only attack you again if you attack them or go for another commander. -nevertheless, i think that sir vivol looks like the expert here
