Hi,

I found a graviton and in the clan window there is a option; donate gravitons. Now, my question is: will they stay in the game (I mean found normally) or is this an event?

The Gravitons found are permanent, it will be your personal ones.
But if you want to donate to clan, you will need to have 3 of the same kind.

Resources: Gravitons can now can be found as drops although the chance is low, you can spend it to your clan at a rate of 3:1. You can also buy Gravitons in the shop. Gravitons now have a cooldown. Time based gravitons now work for 30 seconds instead of 60

So you increase the rate of donating and decrease their value from 60s to 30s? Why would anyone do that? Are they have big drop rate or becoming cheap at the market. I dont think so.

yes you can donate the gravitron.... but its 3 to 1.... meaning for every 3 of 1 gravitron will eual 1 of that particular gravitron...Example.... 3 pyropes to the clan will equal 1 pyrope to the clan. Thats kind of exspensive..

Yes genius we know what is proportion, thank you. I am just saying that must be lower, but on the other hand I have heard of many people emptied their wallets and now have 100 gravitrons each. I already have 9 of them. They drop a little slower than rare bps.
No beautiful, I wasnt talking of you. I meant on game. lol.

What I have noticed that I get only 1 graviton per day, no matter how many enemys I shoot.

I wonder how many have same situation?

Yeah Darkman, same here.
Only one graviton per day, usually as soon as I log on, it drops from the first mantis I kill. Then, no matter how much I kill, no more gravitons.

Hahhahahaahah seriously? I can find maximum 3 per day. Greens are often. Most usable ones anyway.

I have gotten two in one day before, i just didnt pick up the second one cuz i was AB past mines, looked back and saw a pyro i had just OS'd had dropped one.
Decided it would be safer on this side of the mines =D
but usually my situation is the same as ya'lls.

That thing with gravitron finding as soon as log on happen many times to my clan members and buddys. Its true. Not with me though.

I read earlier in this post that someone knew of players that have "emptied their wallets" to get gravitons, 100 in fact. Well I must ask, if this is true then....... why?

100 gravitons at the discounted price of 590 gold = 59,000 gold.
100 gravitons at normal price of 1500 gold = 150,000 gold.

Gravs are used for (1)shielding of the Junkship (thus they are wasted in this manner due to 3:1 conversion AND the simple fact that they literally disappear. Charging up one shield costs 35,400 gold), and (2) for fun really in their 30 seconds of use!

Now I don't know about your currency values but in mine 50K gold works out to be about $75! With this I can get a few months supply of unlimited E and bp booster and speed boost! Much better value than something that "wastes away"!

Please be sensible in how you spend your money or you may regret it later once you realise there is nothing left to show for it.

Just 1 WEEK in Sirus cost me over 300k cryo and what did I get in return for it? Lets see.........
I got 2 junkships that blew up
I got about 5 BP's and still need tons more to finish them
I got podded so many times I lost count
I got an armor that did not do hardly a thing
I didn't get any Gravitons
And after all of that I got to start all over again
All of that for ONLY 300K cryo! What a GREAT deal! (NOT)

Well if you do not know our currency and value, could you please tell us what is 75 USD and how much is it in you country, or what in real life you can buy for it, so we could know how much PG costs those people who pay.

well santa the math almost there:
590 gold = 1 graviton pack which contains 1 each of everytype
1 gravi pack has 5 garvs

discounted: 100 grav(20 packs) 590x20= 11800 gold
no discount 100 grav(20 packs) 1500x20=30000 gold

Errr ... sorry but my calculations are fairly good. You are using your calculations based on 20 gravitons and you need to do it on 60!

The grav packs do indeed have 1 per type, hence 5 in total. But when you donate to the clan you need THREE of one type to make ONE grav for the Junkship to use as a shield! this is the ingame conversion rate of 3:1 and is shown in the donate box!

Thus you require 60 grav packs to make 20 ship gravs (100%) shield.... which erodes away thus wasting your money!

Hence my original calculations are close tot he mark.

As for my approx cost of $70-$75 , it is Australian dollars and works out to almost 50 EURO!
Now you can get an idea of the costs maybe! It is totally ridiculous and I am not sure why this hasn't been patched to stop it!!
