Hey guys,
i see a LOT of interest in making events... we need more ideas though so please start posting.. i will make a specific topic for it in a minute, a place for pilots to give there ideas on events they would like to see..
we would consider any realistic ideas and if possible schedule and run them as soon as we could.. we do try and invade as much as possible and spawn rares too(while still keeping them "RARE")
the main issue with that event was the planet instancing placed the GM team on a different planet to the players as there was over 50 players on the planet before we landed, this instancing is necessary to prevent the planets crashing over too much traffic... it has since been tweaked to allow more pilots on the surface to facilitate such events in the future...
i'd like to also take this opportunity to point out that yes we do have lives, and player accounts and our own clans and friends too look after as well as... bug reporting, intervention with misbehaving players(takes up a LOT of time) also community spirit (i.e. talking, listening and generally having fun with you guys)
scheduling and running and participating in events.. etc etc... the list goes on and on
i try and spend absolutely every available minute of every day on my GM account talking to players, checking mission/player bugs and reporting to the devs and just getting feed back from you guys and putting it on the staff forum for consideration...
we do listen, we do spend literally hours and hours working on this stuff to make a better gaming experience for everyone....
please please please contact us for any problem you may have from bugs to player abuse cases... its what were here for... we need more feedback... the more you guys talk to us the more we can do

Personally I think invasions is the greatest and coolest thing we can do and if I could I would have an 24/7 invasion going on once a week ^^ :mrorange: Imagine an 24 hour long invasion
