-as we all know the vega engineer can put a protector and repairtarget on a friend or squadmates, (and later on repairfield in antares, and materializer in gemini and up)
-and the stunship can put a speedactuator on a friend or squadmate.

-wouldn´t it be nice if a stom could lend out it´s aimcomputer? (and maybe perforator in antares, and up?)
-and a tank could lend out it´s shield? (and maybe it´s aimscrambler in antares, and up?)

-this would work already from vega. (like stunship and engineer)

-what do you think?

The reason for this is that aimcomputer, perforator, shield, and aimscrambler are personal items for these ships. While the speed actuator, repair target, repair field and materializer are drones sent out from the ships to buff or rez an ally. repair target and repair field are not working for the engi itself because that would make engineer waaaaaaay too OP. We could add the defender, it's turret repair field reps both the placer and other ships as long as requirements from the game are met, but at the cost that the turret is easily destroyable and can't be moved around.

For a summary: It is all set as it is to balance out the ships and have SOME logic.
