Gamigo account breach

Right, it seems like almost everyone has missed the more serious issue at hand here. What I want to know is how long were gamigo compromised for, who had access to what, and is my payment data at risk? It doesn't help that gamigo is down at the moment, and that people are so short sighted to just think of how long they wont be able to play PG for.

I would much prefer it if split-screen stopped messing around and moved our accounts from gamigo to SS, because I am sick of trying to access my data through a useless portal that barely functioned even before it got hacked, not to mention that I now question the security of my data in the first place.

This is an opportune moment for SS to move all gamigo accounts across to their own network, because I doubt gamigo will be around much longer. Don't waste time dodging questions and actually get something done for once. If you did this, you might even win some support of gamigo players back. (Although that's doubtful considering 90% of them hate you for what you've done to this game.)

Not like anyone with any significance is going to read this, but hey. Its the only thing I can actually get to work which is directly related to gamigo.

Now someone give us some details, or have we not even earned that?

There is no point in posting this on forum here. It would serve a better purpose on the gamigo forum: http://forum.gamigo.com/

To respond on the issue of account transfer, you will have to wait untill Gamigo gives the approval for the data to be given to Splitscreen. Which as you know has yet to happen.

rainon the last link u post was referring to astraeus post and he refers to gAS.
recently evryone says its not our problem send a ticket to gamigo.

ok it might not be your problem ( altho directly, but indirectly it is). But u guys should have in ur minds that if gamigo is shut down not only their authentication server is offline but their gAS also.

now tell me how the send a ticket through gAS !!!!

One more thing to tell, just why is evryone shoving the problem to another. I mean if we dont get answer here, why accept us gamigo players to this forum and why not we have a gamigo forum.

this is not flaming btw, just one of the few questions evryone wants to hear.

the question is. will the people get their money back or atleast some kind of something back even if its just booster time or something atleast just to re-assure people that theyr in good hands because iv been reading these posts and it seems people arnt trusting gamigo atm.

its not gamigo's fault theyv been hacked but they could do more to assure us (the paying customers) that we are in good hands.

Directly as Indirectly this is not our problem, gamigo offers the game via its on log in server. So we can not do anything about it when it goes down.

on the matter of gAS, yes, it is also down. Yet support can't do anything when people send tickets to Splitscreen support.

If you want a refund you will have to contact Gamigo. And i agree that they should give more information about the current state.

weather we sign up with gamigo, hi5, areia, we are all playing YOUR game and it gives YOU a bad name as a company when things happen like hi5 players getting hung out to dry and all this happen with gamigo, you splitscreen picked these game portals to represent your game, and no matter who we buy gold from you get the fat end of the money from them, so please man up and ether move accounts over or GHOAST THEM to your own portal or if your in an contract with these other game portals then make them keep to the standard you would like your company to be represented

This is what is up at Gamigo Forum, in latest they are requesting to NOT file tickets to Gamigo support.
At this moment I believe it is so overloaded that no one gets in for to do any pw changes, I tried.

There was an attack on the gamigo database in which user information, such as alias usernames and passwords were stolen. An excerpt from these was published in the gamigo forums.

Please make certain that the new password is not the same as the old one!

Log in to the gamigo Account System with the new password and go to "My Games." Please select a new, secure password for each of your games.
