Game Update October 24, 2017

Between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM UTC+2, the game servers will shut down for a new game update to be deployed.

Update Changelog

NEW FEATURES

• Added "Lieutenant" to the list of assignable clan positions.
  • Lieutenants have the same basic rights as Officers; in addition, Lieutenants can
    • command Jump Ships in Sirius.
    • invest Clan Cryonite to instantly refuel or buy Jump Ships.
  • There is no limit to the number of Lieutenants per clan.

IMPROVEMENTS

• The clan position of "Captain" has had its initial alliance-related rights restored:
  • Captains can create alliances again.
  • Captains can invite clans to their alliances again.
• Mantis death squads now take a longer time to replenish destroyed squadmates; we chose to reduce said spawn rate as it was being exploited for generating Warscore fast.

BUG FIXES

• Fixed a number of bugs regarding squadrons:
  • One pilot can no longer be part of more than one squadron at a time.
  • Squadrons no longer break when some of its members stay offline for a prolonged period of time.
• Fixed a few occurrences of the outdated "Commander" wording when actually referencing a clan's Admiral.
