Projectile Performance Improvements
- Fixed slow down that build up over time for all weapon firing, especially when multi-targeting many targets at once with the rapid blaster (large number of projectiles).
- Fixed memory leak for sound cache for all weapon shot effects. (Was also an issue even with sound disabled)
- Reworked weapon bullet logic (blaster, sniper, rockets, TC rockets, aggrobombs,..) so that meshes and particles are properly grouped and cached when appropiate.
- Fixed slow down (CPU cycles) after time when keeping in a single zone while fighting etc. This was caused by a not ideal structure for hit effects and caching.
Remnant Carrier Adjustments
- Added a new action to Remnant Carriers which enables them to spawn energy fields during battle.
- Overall all carrier spawned orbs will contain energy as on Erebos
- Tau Ceti Remnants will now drop a small amount more Cryonite.
- Tailored changes for Remnant Carriers spawning in the Oort system (i.e. on Erebos):
- 30% more Cryonite drops compared to spawns in other systems
- 20% less stun protection compared to spawns in other systems
- Remnant Carriers' durability boost action has its upper limited adjusted to not easily succumb to very large groups of players.
- Remnant Carriers' use of their planet roaming action during combat has been limited to two times during an ongoing stretch of combat (previously unlimited).
- Set the strength of Remnant Carrier stun items to that of regular NPC items. (less effectice towards player)
- Adjusted Remnant Carrier speeds to be more on average scale of system player ships.
Other Changes & Fixes
- Fixed bug that sometimes a unit/pilot was destroyed twice, resulting in doubled rewards, pilots ending up in two pods etc.
- Fixed a bug that would lead to twice the amount of collected energy since the carrier update was released
- Reworded "Star system" info on carrier intel board as "System tech":
- A small intel category tooltip is now shown when hovering over the system/ planet / bp type fields after they had their value set.
- "Tau Ceti / Oort" is now displayed for spawns on Earth (in Unrest), as opposed to "Sol".
