Frustrated by stuff thats dropping / gona be dropped.

Totally not happy about the Christmas World Event -
which I suspect is a stealth stress test for the new loot system.

It was more than merely annoying when I was shooting harvs - it was downright perilous when I was doing a white mission on the moon, because if it didn't stop to pick up the stupid packages which littered the landscape -thus earning many additional whacks from the surrounding mantis while I was performing the mindless, meaningless task of collecting them - there was a very good chance I would click on one of the packages instead of a mantis - and earn yet another resounding smack right up my exhaust tubes.

AND when crossing the planet normally I shoot and keep moving to get to my destination using the mini map to see if cry or a bp showed up. Well, THAT mode was useless, because 95% of the time a tiny blue square appeared and I had to turn around to see what the heck it was. And YOU KNOW with the current drop rate that 99% of the time it was NOT a bp, right? And grabbing the cry or bp that did occasionally show up meant I was sitting in danger longer while I cursed the collector that grabbed the package instead of the cry.

I asked in general chat if anybody was happy with the "Christmas Present..." No one was. Then went to gm chat to see if it could be turned off.

Nope.

Wanta remove it? Send in a ticket.

I don't see why everyone is making a big deal out the more drops thing.

I 500% agree that the presents are stupid and a big waste of time.

Event idea is good its fun but the presents are jsut stupid u get nothing from it and way to many drop u cant normally click cry if your grindign for it.
why dont just delete the presents and add a small % for killing a mantis without picking up a present. its realy frustrating.

i hope they change this and else i hope this event ends very fast instead of ruining my grinding this holiday.

at the moment we got this fun event but someone thought hey lets drop them 5 bilion presents. wich give nothing and baricade the sight of other drops.
i was planning to start grind for a parsec but if i get 1 cry drop there are minimal 5 presents above it so i cant see it anyway.

instead of 5 bilion presents dropping on your cry u now get 50 thousand bps wich make a ocean if u have them already and u have to swim to your cry drops.

yes i made this in a funny and not realistic way but u for sure understand what im saying.

i hope this is "foreseen" and adjusted to normal realistic numbers.

and 1 last begging move please burn the presents!!!

I haven't been able to play a lot, but I didn't had any problemswith the presents. But if this is how it will be with higher cryonite droprate, then maybe they have to make collector really damn fast.

i didnt have problems to the first day because it was fun 1st TIME but i hope this is not lasting the whole week. i want to grind for a parsec and thats not gona happen with 5 presents on every single cry drop.

You can also you the scanner thingy, so you can select cryonite. But it costs more time.

i dont like these presents, they are affecting cry drops, or i am atleast getting less cry drops then before.
and i am not picking these presents up any more.

I quit playing was just logging on to test it out. It said that presents were giving bps/crys I collected em for 2 hours and nothing then when it reached 100% there was a giant invasion and I ended up crashing and getting podded by 2 pilots when I was offline. Why write on forum that you get bps and cry from presents when you dont lol....
and I share the same vision as jixao, grinding harvs now leaves you with 1 cry and 10 presents per harv LOL

I have lowest on my laptop. It is 5 years old and the window closes all the time causing me to restart pirate galaxy. As the network card on my computer is broken I cant really play and anyway I quit playing..
Was just on to test out that christmas thingy..

This might sound wrong coming from me...

But I am all for removing the Christmas box/invasion thing as it does nothing but clog up the screen with useless boxes that take to long to collect for nothing in return. More importantly they make it more difficult to help players on SMs while trying to clear mantis from areas as the cursor continuously clicks on them (the boxes).

The idea of it is nice , but not worth the effort so please get rid of it. The reward of it sux.

Errrrrr.... The reason the boxes drop less now is due to the simple fact that they ARE now rare bps! All that has happened is that the GOLD BP now drops in the form of a BOX!

After the restart I didn't get ONE BOX that dropped. Hmmmm that sounds like normal rare drops to me!
