Freezing..

Hey all. I saw the ad for this game and was eager to try it out. Problem is as soon as I log in it keeps freezing up my entire PC, with my system tray displaying something being plugged on and off from the jacks. I ran the medic tool and everything was alright and I don't think it's a graphical error since the login screen shows no errors whatsoever.

Is there any way to know what's going on and how it can be fixed?

Thanks for the heads up, though I don't think I will bother to play the game just yet if I get such a critical error prematurely. If it just crashed by all means I would, but this affected my entire machine. No game, especially one running on Java, has ever done this before.
