I've come across a LOT of people lately who don't know what a Conquest is or how it works. For those of you who don't know, i've made a description below.
Every system has 2 Conquest Planets, with the exception of Sol, which has 3. Conquests are usually scheduled in 2-3 day intervals. To enter a Conquest, your clan must register at the CQ Planet within an hour before it begins. You also have to be in Pirate Mode in order to land on a CQ Planet. Only members with Officer rank and above can register. When a Conquest begins, you must land you clan's Conquest Ship before any other people in your clan can land. Once the CQ Ship has landed, the main objective is to capture what is called a Conquest Beacon. When a beacon is captured, your clan gains points for the capture. (Only CQ Ships can capture Conquest Beacons.) Note that when you start to activate a Conquest Beacon it sends out a notice to everyone on the planet of the name of the clan, and the name of the beacon being activated. The clan that captures all the beacons or has the most points at the end of the Conquest wins and gains ownership of the planet.
Another objective is to defeat enemy clans. Escort ships (any ship that is not the Conquest ship) can die and land on the conquest ship after being transported to the Hangar facilities in orbit, but if a Conquest ship gets destroyed the clan that owns that CQ Ship is defeated and all escorts are transferred to orbit and are unable to land again. If your clan's Conquest ship gets destroyed, you lose the Conquest so make protecting it a top priority. (NOTE: the rescue waiting time takes 25 seconds on a CQ planet instead of 10 on a normal one. You also can't materialize yourself on a CQ planet.)
When you win a Conquest planet you gain a 2% Cryonite boost in the corresponding system. Also the more planets you controls, the higher the drop percentage. You can also land on a CQ planet that your clan has captured. You can only use ships of the corresponding system and tech in a Conquest (I.E, antares ships/tech for antares CQ planets, rare blueprints and rare ships are allowed). Every clan has a Conquest ship list, where players from Officer rank and above in the clan can assign the ships to any player in the clan, and buy more Conquest ships with Cryonite that is in the Clan's treasury. Vega system Conquests do not allow armor.
Prices of Conquest Ships:
Vega CQ Ship: 4,445 Cry
Antares CQ Ship: 18,621 Cry
Gemini CQ Ship: 37,631 Cry
Mizar CQ Ship: 74,944 Cry
Sol CQ Ship: 205,680
Draconis CQ Ship: 350,307
